As described in the title, I have a Surface Go 1 happily running Fedora 39. The only downsides are that the cameras aren’t working and that my mouse (Modern Mobile from Microsoft) sometimes doesn’t connect or disconnects.\n

I don’t really care about the cameras, as I can use my phone for anything requiring it, but I get really irritated when my Surface Modern mouse doesn’t connect for a 30 seconds when I launch the OS and then connects after moving it a few times unsuccesfuly. Edit 3: There’s definitely a CGNAT involved since the WAN ip in the router config is not the same as the one I get when I use a website that echos my IP address. Far as I can tell my devices don’t get unique IPv6 addresses either. (funnily enough, if I check my IP address on my phone using roaming data, there’s no IPv6 address at all). It’s a router/modem combo, at least I think since there’s only one device in my apartment (maybe there’s a modem managing the whole complex or something?). And it doesn’t have a bridge mode, except for OTT. Might try plugging my own router into it, but it feels like a waste of time and money from what I’m seeing. Probably best to just host services over a VPN or smth.\n

So, after the five steps it kicks me out of the installer and now, I can’t acess the second drive. Even through moving the boot order on BIOS, it always loads me into pop os. The only time it ever didn’t do this is one time where it seemingly randomly gave me boot options, two of which were Pop_OS and one was “windows boot manager”, which when selected turned off my computer and promptly i booted right back into Pop_OS. Can anyone provide some advice? TIA."

I recently created a HD for dual boot Win 11 and Pop Os. I created a shared partition for Data, and separate partitions for the respective OS. I used gParted to create the partitions. It looks like Win then added bitlocker to this data partition.\n
