I’m having trouble with my recently set up *arr stack, but it does seem to be specifically related to Jellyseerr.\n
\n
For some reason, the special season won’t show for Death in Paradise, despite the season being listed correctly in [TMDB](https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/41956-death-in-paradise/seasons?language=en) (which I believe is the source).\n
\n
I only see seasons 1-13 listed and not season 0/specials.\n
\n
Is there anything I can do to fix this?

+title: "SOLVED: Is there a way to enable the systemctl switch-root command after initrd.target in systemd version 255? (Arch Linux)"
+url: null
+body: """
Ive been tryna figure this out all day, Ive read the manual for systemctl and I didnt see anything about `switch-root` after the initrd target. I did see a `–force` option, however it didnt do anything. Before the upgrade to version 255, I would use a script or manually mount the partition, and then I would just do like `systemctl switch-root /mnt` and it would just switch to the other system in an instant as if I booted it normally. But ever since this update it just prints `Not in initrd, refusing switch-root operation.` and does nothing.\n
\n
Is there a configuration file I can edit to allow switch-root after the initrd? Or is it like hard-coded and systemd would need patching and recompiling to allow for this? If so is there a way to just trick systemd into thinking its in the initrd and just let me switch-root?\n
\n
I was dissappointed when I found out I couldnt just switch-root anymore. Any help, ideas, or suggestions will be much appreciated, thank you!\n
\n
EDIT: To switch root in the new versions of systemd, you will have to mount the filesystem you want to switch root into to `/run/nextroot` and run `systemctl soft-reboot`, and it will switch into the root just like before.

I was having this conversation with a friend. Albert Einstein was known for saying the following…\n
\n
“I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.”\n
\n
By that, he was referring to the idea that atomic and nuclear power would complicate human development so much we would have it thrust back at us, unless we reached a point we could [manifest a cycle](https://twitter.com/TYL80737692/status/1724378550835216795). And frankly, especially with current events, I’d believe him over Oppenheimer, that movie was just modern political fuel (people might also argue that the constant act of trying to make war obsolete through more powerful weapons ignores the fact that our very goal is to learn from history).\n
\n
I get a few takeaways from this, one of these being that progress, people foresee (or think they foresee), will turn out to be a merely forward thing, where we can only get better at inventing, which means better tech, which means the ability to improve how we destroy, and another being that nation states, themselves having been a can of worms on their own when tribes contemplated no longer being tribes, will be targeting other nation-states, but that tribes, being nomadic and not as technologically in-tune, would have less incentive to be struck down by a nuke, as would city-states to a lesser degree due to the second thing and/or the fact that everyone existing in the form of city-states might make people more careful. I personally am intrigued by both ideas albeit particularly the city-state one, as it would allow for a larger pool of identity.\n
\n
My friend, however, says that people who hold this view are assuming all the factors they see are all the factors that exist, and that there are factors unforeseen (by adherents) that would have no reason to be seen by most people talking about this that would amount to unexpected developments that would render a return to tribalism (or city-states) to be in vain. Bringing the matter here as it comes to a draw, being someone who questions whether they’re assuming all the natural factors can be inferred, I’d like to ask you, would you say yay or nay to the idea of reverting to tribes, and/or yay or nay to the idea of reverting to city-states (if we consider them separate ideas)?

Most people have extremely weird ideas of what’s considered piracy and what isn’t. Downloading a video game rom is piracy, but if you pay money to some Chinese retailer for an SD card containing the roms, that’s somehow not piracy. Exploiting the free trial on a streaming site by using prepaid visa cards is somehow not piracy either. Torrenting an album is piracy, but listening to a bootleg on YouTube isn’t.\n
\n
YouTube noticed this at some point and is now happy to let everyone know how much pirated music is available on their site. One of their main points for shilling YouTube premium is how their music catalogue is way better than Spotify. Of course the piracy site has more. That’s always how it works. Spotify actually has to license the music on their platform and is subject to copyright law. They can’t just get the Neil Young discography from soulseek one day and wait until his estate notices, facing no repercussions whatsoever aside from agreeing to a takedown request. Imagine if Pirate Bay or Napster were considered completely above-board businesses just because they took down torrents if explicitly requested by the copyright holders.\n
\n
Not that I’m complaining especially when a lot of the music on youtube isn’t publicly accessible anywhere else. It’s just been extremely strange to see this go from an “open secret” to something they’re shouting from the rooftops and face no repercussions for. In the future I want everything to be like that and I’d rather keep youtube how it is than see them get the punishment that by all rights they should be getting. It’s just so strange that this is the position things have ended up in.\n

So I’ve eaten everything from sardines and toast to balut. I have never really found foods I don’t enjoy, except for Indian food…and balut but that’s a whole other story.\n
\n
I find it’s always the same, overkill on spices, sauce and rice. It’s very unappealing to me for some reason. Almost seems very…lacking in textures, visuals and the flavors are typically just overpowering of cumin. Sometimes it’s been fancy and I had sauce on rice, with a side of more sauces. There never seems to be substance to the foods but sauce and rice.\n
\n
Granted I haven’t explored too much with Indian food but it always looks the same to me. Saying just sauce might be a bit harsh, sometimes it more like stew because there’s chunks of chicken or whatnot but it’s always the same flavor.\n
\n
Can you recommend something from Indian culture that isn’t what I have described above?

Hello everyone - I have been wanting to ditch windows on my gaming pc for a while now, and since I have recently finished a large project, I now have the free time to switch. All of my other daily driver programs I know will work, so I am mainly concerned with the gaming aspect.\n

Hey fellas, I noticed a lot of people will install/boot headless versions of this software on raspi to conserve resources. If I go through installing what I need to install via the GUI/Terminal, will I have any issues when I’m finished turning on the boot to CLI? I assume this won’t affect the background process too much (unless of course something I install needs a GUI.)\n
\n
Along with that, will I still be conserving the same amount of resources as if I ran headless to begin with. Running x64 Bookworm on raspi 4 (8gb) if that matters, and have a general self-hosting setup.\n
\n
Thanks in advance!
