            "content": "<p>It\u2019s a hard pill to swallow.  I spent the last 17 years doing everything I can to peacefully help make meaningful changes to society and to how we\u2019ve treated our only environment.  To how we treat each-other.  I have voted in every election I can, stayed informed and educated enough to make a salient point (which is useless when your opposition simply refuses to accept reality), been to marches, hell I got punched in the chest by a biker nazi and watched the cops simply move him back to his side.<\/p>\n<p>I would consider myself nonviolent, not quite a pacifist, but mostly there.  The main takeaway from my life is that there is no way to peacefully fight oppression.  Thats an insane lie that your oppressors want you so badly to commit to.  Why do you think American schools focus on MLK and rarely touch on Malcom X?  And how foolish are we to quietly sit on a lawn or concrete and get the shit beat out of us, shot by rubber bullets, pepper sprayed, denigrated, and so much more.  Look at history, tyrannical governments and rulers are overthrown, not peacefully escorted out. Peace and reason are weaknesses to them, and love that because thar makes you easy to manipulate and subjugate.  The powerful have no incentive to treat us well when we so freely serve ourselves up, when they have nothing to fear from us.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m not saying I\u2019ll be downtown throwing molotovs any time soon, but I\u2019ll jump at any opportunity to beat the ever living shit out of a Nazi, and I\u2019m down to try an alternative to \u201cpeacefully protests\u201d.<\/p>\n",
