+url: null
+body: "I’m Korean and grew up eating anchovies in a variety of Korean dishes. Usually tiny ones that are stir fried with seasonings, or dried and salted ones. I use fish sauce, made from anchovies, pretty often in dishes, but I’ve never really tried making anything with the bigger, sardine style ones. I’ve been meaning to put some in pasta sauce. I’ve read they just dissolve as it simmers and adds good flavor. If you cook with anchovies, what are your favorite ways to use them?"

I’ve seen it for Venezuela and Syria, but i’m sure i could find this for quite a lot of other countries. \n
We’re usually saying that it would legitimize these elections, and are asking instead that the opponents boycott them. We can continue to criticize the biases surrounding the votes instead of the votes themselves if that’s the problem. \n
Some leaders may believe that the processus of elections is biased because unjust external pressures are putting a strain on the country and strengthening the opposition ; but, despite that, some of them are still asking for international observers, which could be an occasion to seize, instead of refusing to send them yet accusing them of cheating. \n
So i wonder if i’m missing something by thinking that we don’t want to legitimate the whole process by counting the votes.\n
\n
For them it seems like it would be the same if they’re already asking, but for us it could open our societies to accusations of double standards since it could be argued that our own elections aren’t perfect. \n
In the end sanctions would stay in place so it wouldn’t be useful in any way, and doesn’t matter, i should probably delete this post but i’m leaving it in the off-chance that some find an interest in it.\n
\n
If you had the initial thought that international observers won’t prevent cheating : they would count in double the votes, with the venezuelans of their area, and have everything under their eyes from the beginning of the vote to the end of the official count, so i don’t see how cheating would be possible. \n
For now, our version is that they’re miscounting the votes, yet we’re refusing to send such observers.

Hey everyone,\n

I’m currently stuck between deciding whether to go for a 1080p REMUX or a 2160p REMUX and could really use some guidance here.\n

My laptop specs are as follows: I’m running Arch Linux with dwm (Xorg) and have configured MPV with hardware acceleration. Just to give you an idea:\n

Hey everyone! Looking for any interior decorator aficionados out there. For as long as I can remember I’ve never been able to decorate spaces where I live and would love some advice!\n
\n
I’ve been at my current home a few years and my living room is painted, but the walls are empty. We have some furniture (couch, entertainment center, key ring holder) and our TV but you really wouldn’t be able to tell who lives there or what type of people we are. This is the case for all of our rooms.\n
\n
Does anyone have or know of any guides/tips/suggestions for making a space feel more “lived-in” or “home-y”? I’m not sure where to start aside from family pictures, but then get stressed about messing up our walls or something “looking wrong” and having to redo/undo it all. Any way to get past that mindset as well is definitely welcome!\n
\n
Any help is appreciated, thanks everyone!
