I’m using a Protectli FW6B as my opnsense firewall/router. I’m upgrading my internet service to 1.5 GB fiber and I’m not sure what to do with this device once I do. I could continue using it as my router (I guess put it on the LAN side of the supplied Bell “Gigahub” router/WiFi ap/whatever the fiber equivalent of a modem is?) but then I lose out on 1/3 of my bandwidth.\n
      \n
I already have a homebuilt NAS running truenas with a bunch of services - I guess I could move all those services from truenas onto the Protectli and keep the NAS solely as a storage system?\n
      \n
Either that or just sell it to recupe the costs somewhat. I’m already considering selling my ruckus 510s because the new router comes with WiFi 6. If I did that, I’d probably look to sell the 2x ruckus r510 aps I have setup too.\n
      \n
Is there another option I’m missing?
