Why are there 2 seperate instances of a community with the same name and function?
Won’t it be confusing? Are there plans to merge both of them together?

Do any of you have experienced good products for tinkering together with a 3 year old?...

And how many of those accounts are for NSFW content?...
I am not a super code-literate person so bare with me on this… But. Still please becareful. There appears to be a vulnerability....
I chose my instance 9 or so months ago purely because it was suggested by the Jerboa app at the time. In lieu of making numerous accounts to access communities that aren’t federated with my instance, I was hoping to make a second account with a very “federated” instance. Any suggestions?...
I use a few different programs for completion of job cards etc when i do worm and submit reports....
I just jumped onto lemmy.world on PC during lunch break and got some sick images popping up (some guy stating he raped a child in the woods) and old men having sex. I stopped there. Is Lemmy under attack or? I’m on mobile now and it hasn’t happened here.
If I try to log into lemmy.ml/c/todayilearned with @ancientweasel it doesn’t work....
I dunno whether to mark this NSFW or not but do your worst.
I’ve seen only few GIFs on Lemmy. Most of them are just links but I’ve see a handful that were actually animated within the apps (I forget which app it was maybe Memmy). Is there a reason for the lack of GiFs?
Is there some script, addon or something that will take data from GDPR request and delete content, especially comments, one by one? redact had this capability, but it’s not working now
Seeing a big “politics” community in both lemmy.ml and lemmy.world just confuses me as to which I should be subscribing to and I don’t really want to subscribe to both....
Is there a way to block posts from specific lemmy communities? I want to browse “All” without having to worry about porn showing up
Hello All. I’m using IPTVnator on Linux and trying out both OTT Navigator IPTV and iMPlayer IPTV Player on Android but I’m wondering what everyone here uses.
I joined Lemmy a few weeks before the API change. I loved the conversations. I loved how the content was slower but more engaging, and less politically charged. There was nobody shitting on Elon Musk, or Twitter, or Reddit....
I’ll start: My first GF and I didn’t use protection. We used the pull out technique. FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR! I was 19 and could have ruined my life then and there.
This seems like a good place so far tbh
My idea is this: I just want to send to a server like this a request from my domain name and username, but I don’t want to run a full instance. Is this technically possible?
I wanted to create a community i was missing personally. Here people with (or without) social anxiety can discuss the topic, vent, find information or just talk in a safe space....
So, I get that someone is trying to populate this community with posts using the lemmit.online bot. And that the vast majority of us are coming from Reddit. And that AITA is a staple community that we’re used to seeing in our feeds....
I feel like my house is constantly a fucking mess. My wife and I work 80 hours between us and we have a 2 year old and I feel like it’s constantly a mess....

Over the past few years I’ve accumulated way too much random electronics parts and pieces from projects and random Aliexpress shopping sprees. I figured I’d split it out into various “packs”, but I can move things around as desired (or combine things). It’s all free + shipping, I can ship however you want but default...
