Hello altogether, I guess everybody has some USB-C cables lying around, but wonder if it’s 3A, 5A, 3.0, TB… Anybody able to recomment a device able to determine that? Maybe also something that can be combined with a load tester.

I installed the Auto Backup HACS integration and I have a network storage configured in Home Assistant (FYI, I’m running HAOS). If I use HA’s Developer Tools and manually call the “Auto Backup: Backup Full” service, there is a “Location” field where I can select my network storage. The backup successfully completes...

Okay, it may sound like a personal issue, but I disagree with the privacy practices in developer tools. And I’m not talking about VSCode issue, but about other more elemental development tools. For example, the privacy policy of npmjs.com, pkg.go.dev (Google’s privacy policy lol), hub.docker.com, and these public registries...
I don’t have a lot of HDD space so I only seed torrents that I download to ratio of 2. Recently I discovered Stremio and torrentio add on. It is nice and l like the simplicity, but isnt it only leeching? I couldn’t find anything in settings that would enable seeding. If it is only leeching idk if I want to use it.

I am worried that externally caused vibrations might damage my HDDs (NAS in the planning). The subway / metro runs under my building, and every time the train passes, this causes slight but measurable vibrations in the 50-100 Hz frequency range. It is more like a rumbling noise than the usual vibration of a passing train....

I tried to sign up for this instance, but my signup is still stuck in “processing”. I tried signing up with a different username & email, and I got a popup that said sign ups are closed. Anyone know how to see what pid/process has modified a linux routing table (specifically on Ubuntu )? I have an interesting problem where a route that I have created has been deleted over time, but can’t figure out what. I’ve tried rtmon but seems to only show timestamps of the adds/deletes
