Bananas are ridiculously cheap even up here in Canada, and they aren’t grown anywhere near here. Yet a banana can grow, be harvested, be shipped, be stocked, and then be purchased by me for less than it’d cost to mail a letter across town. Not a fan. My house isn’t built for when the temp starts dipping into the teens. Glad we’re finally getting a break today with some slightly above freezing temps and some sunshine.
13 year old heat pump owner here. It sounds like a normal AC running outside. It gets a bit loud in certain moments when it runs some exhaust cycle - not sure of the term for it - but that just happen sporadically here and there and lasts no longer than a few seconds.
At what threshold do you go full bald at? I’ve been struggling with this for years as my hair thins out. I’ve got the balding dome on my crown in the back, which of course I never see unless I look with 2 mirrors.

I watched Airplane II last night. Hadn’t seen it since I was a kid. I remember it being as funny as the first one but now not so much. Just a lot of recycled dumb jokes from the first one. Although the end scenes with William Shatner did crack me up - pretty much the only saving grace.
