Ded. I’d be nothing but a mass of stitches and have been burned enough times, if that didn’t heal id be dead.
Slow healing is the one thing I notice the most about getting older. I’m in good shape and all, well nourished, it’s not lifestyle. I broke my finger and it took two years to heal completely. As a kid that would have been 6 weeks, at 50 something it took 104 weeks.
idubbbz is finished. He went too far and now he can’t salvage what made his channel so great. Wayyyyy too obsessed with drama and not his own thing. Youtube is a different place now. He should go back to doing bad unboxing videos.
Dudes have been making awesome automotive content since 2007. And Moogs sound tracks that he creates for the episodes (and especially the feature length stuff) is incredible.
Don’t think they’ve had a single moment of boring content in 16 odd years, let alone anything objectively bad. Absolute units the pair of them.
He got louder, flashier, less techy and more talky and is doing a gazillion reruns of the same general idea over and over. Can’t really enjoy it anymore.
Came here to say this too (actually did but didn’t scroll enough to see yours first). I totally agree. I feel like he’s not creating content for the same reasons he used to.
I like what he do, no problem on that, but his voice is neither loud nor quiet. It has the tone of a loud speak but the audio come out soft, it hurt my ear when my brain trying to adjust to whatever that volume is.
Also yes another glitter bomb and animal puzzle maze.
Assuming English isn’t your mother tongue, I meant no offense. But “beltalowda” is a demonym referring to the group of humans occupying and mining the asteroid belt and other outer planetary areas in the science fiction story The Expanse. Your grammar is surprisingly close to their speech patterns.
I always wear a real watch because I collect them and they are the only jewellery I have and they complete your clothing style. They can gain value and I can give them to my kids one day (when I’ll learn how to make them). Also because as a Swiss I don’t really have a choice.
But I also wear an apple watch on the opposite arm, for sport reasons at first, then I got used to all the bullshit it have…
Wow. Someone over there is defending him being a fan of the Proud Boys guy because he claims the Proud Boys aren’t a terrorist group (despite having been declared as such).
He says they’re “very extreme right at worst”, as if there’s some sort of sliding scale on the right wing that eventually gets to “extreme right”, “very extreme right”, “terrorist organization” just naturally…and he isn’t aware they crossed the line years ago.
As if ‘very extreme right’ (not a thing, they’re nazis. The word is nazis) isn’t like. Bad. Like apparently that’s a respectable position for the simple idea that it is on a ‘scale’?
And yes, fully agree. Even if there was a ‘scale’ (this is debateable) they crossed that line waaaaaaay long ago. Like 2016, maybe even before.
AAVE. He used to be a cool tool review channel who really got into the nitty gritty of how electric tools worked and what made them quality. Now he’s an anti-vax spouting asshole who loves the truckers who blocked the bridge in Canada. Spiraled into the right-wing like a waterslide
He kinda always flirted with being overly caustic in my experience. Definitely creeped a little too close to heteronormative, western world good, global south bad, clunky boomer type shit humor wise. But ya, around covid popping of I sensed some real cracks forming and I bounced on outta there.
I’m from New Orleans and I had seen flurries before but the first time I saw snow that stuck to the ground was in Las Vegas of all places. We visited some relatives and drove to the mountains to see snow.
I eventually lived in a city that got snow regularly and learned it’s only charming for a day or two before it’s just gray mush. But I do miss that first few hours where it’s a winter wonderland.
When you wake up early after a snowstorm and nobody has gone out yet it looks so beautiful. The snow also dampens sounds, and it makes the sound of people shoveling their walks a little magical. Then six hours later it’s just dirty, and annoying.
