Ktheone, in No escape

Burn the toilet down

Usernameblankface, in The cool thing is the rapid mutation of surrounding plants and bacteria, meaning Dad is still changing lives after he's gone.

Companies that make sealed concrete vaults would like a word with you

Setarkus, (edited ) in Banned books

I’m assuming that getting books banned from libraries requires them to be there in the first place (in most cases at least), so any arguments using examples age rating issues should rather focus on why those books got into a school library in the first place.
Surely the ones responsible don’t just blindly choose some books to fill the library without at least making sure they’re not as wildly inappropriate as some people like to say.

humorlessrepost, in No escape

And what about the part of your pants you grab to pull them up before washing your hands?

technomad,

They never said they pulled up their pants before washing their hands. Lol

cro_magnon_gilf, (edited ) in In case of emergency, open crisps bag

I know this isn’t right but…

This is what I imagine happened to all those redditors who are always looking to tell everyone they have cptsd

Dude was keen on the principle of waking beside her and not on the detes.

Cold_Brew_Enema, in ‘NEXT TO HER’ [OC] (Oldie from the archive)

Well done!

forrcaho, in Dreamcatcher

This common misunderstanding of the purpose of life is addressed by Alan Watts in this short animation illustrated by Trey Parker and Matt Stone of South Park fame.

drislands, in Bear trap

Why does trying to go to the website for the comic instead take me to Steam?

naticus,

That’s an interesting question. I tried too and it did the same for me too. I think the site is setup as a redirect to that Guinea Pig Parkour game, so at least it’s related to the comic??

AgnosticMammal,

They made a game, so yes.

Inucune, in Meeting face to face

psud,

This is what that looks like to me, in case it’s not deliberate https://lemmy.world/pictrs/image/52d94fb7-1b49-4b79-8ada-98018cdbbbf0.png

lseif,

as with me (although i see it like that a lot on jerboa)

GoosLife,

Not their fault, it’s Lemmys pretty agressive code injection protection.

There were multiple attempts to let users put less than signs, but unfortunately each was found to be exploitable, so for now you just straight up cannot put a less than sign. There are also certain other things you can’t type, even inside code rendering blocks. For example, you can’t do C++ style include-statements. That’s what I was trying to do when I learned all this.

HobbitFoot, in Another Year Over [Safely Endangered]

wildcardology, in Get a millenium falcon!

An iron man suit, which one is the best? I don’t like the nanobots ones.
