5 to 10, depends on the shade of yellow you’d like to get.

It just feels off if you’re not high IMO.

Ah, I see they trained you well young padawan.

Yeah, enjoy that… I’ve tried it enough times to find the process cumbersome and full of troubleshooting.

But… that’s part of the joy 🤨…

In the right state of mind I enjoy that, but I could never straight up ditch windows as someone who games often.

Who said you have to ditch Windows 🤨. I mostly use Wine so I don’t have to restart and boot into Windows or fire up a VM. It’s just simpler.

I usually watch the movie on my PC and my setup is plain stereo with a non-FullHD monitor, so… not much point in downloading 1080p 🤷.

I really have no idea how it made sense in your head that a coomunity named “shit posts” has anything to do with the images you keep sharing. They’re anything but shitposts.

Try Void it has an installer 😉.

Kidding, stick to Mint until you feel ready you can take a bigger bite. And do opt for the Debian Edition Mint.

Exactly why old devices are so hard to break - they’re incredibly simple.

To be honest, I see nothing wrong with MBR boot, it does the job, I’ll use it till I can or till it doesn’t do the job I want/need.

Hey, it works for you and that’s fine ☺️ 😉.

That is not the problem. It’s whether I wanted to pick Windows or Linux in this reboot that’s the issue.

0x4E4F,
@0x4E4F@sh.itjust.works avatar

Yep, pretty much the same reason, just have to use it, mostly because of software that interacts with hardware, in one way or another.

You’re an inqusitive mind (so am I) and there is nothing wrong with that.

But, do understand that most people aren’t. Either because they didn’t have proper guidance when they were young or just have no interest in involving themselves in new things, doesn’t really matter, the fact is that, yes, most people don’t really care how stuff works.

You might surround yourself with people that are like you, so you don’t see the other ones. Trust me when I say this, most people are not like you. I’d say about 5 to 10% of people are like you, that’s it.

You can’t have native SATA support with virtualization… at least not that I’m aware of… and I need that.

Yep, works OK on one of my setups at work.

Ohms is the amount of resistance inside the current.

Well, it’s not inside the current, more like inside the conductor 😂, but yeah, true… more or less 😂.

More ohms or more Amps necessitates more Volts

You got a funny way of looking at things 😂.

Yes, true, but I never would have thought of saying it like that 😂.

U = I * R

Voltage is the actual regulator of amps. Resistance is (usually) a fixed value (not fixed like Pi or e, but still, it’s considered fixed if the value doesn’t fluctuate too much). So, you need more amps? You raise the voltage. You need less amps? You drop the voltage.

My point is, you can’t raise amps to raise voltage, doesn’t work like that.

Bonus: watts is the rate at which the current is moving through the circuit. Volts squared divided by ohms equals watts. Amps squared times ohms equals watts. Volts times amps equals watts.

That makes total sense, but I’ve never looked at it like that. Thanks for the POV.
