No because taxation would be adjusted so the average person is no better off.
It’s about raising the lowest earners to a minimum level that they’re able to live on, without making them jump through hoops or prove they are poor or prove they have been looking for work for 40 hours a week or some bullshit.
The lack of decent inventory management meant that when I got new companions later on, I just didn’t use them for more than their story quest, and they were mostly wearing their default gear.
Just seemed more effort than it was worth to sort through everything, including all those chests that litter the camp but might as well be voids because as soon as something went into one, I never used it again.
“Oh man, I’d love to use Linux because then I wouldn’t have to have Edge installed!” - Nobody. Ever.
People use Windows because it comes with the PC and it runs all their shit (maybe except some yellowing-beige and blue scanner from 1997) with no fucking about needed. They were never incentivised to use Linux. They don’t know what an OS is, and more importantly, they don’t care.
I think the most disappointing thing about it is how cheap they all are to buy. You’d expect them to be bribed in the millions, but it’s always a couple of thousand here, a couple of thousand there.
Turns out the most unrealistic thing about Clay Davis from The Wire, is how much he took.
I just received a call from an indian microsoft technician. He informed me that my PC is sending a ton of error messages to microsoft. Most likely it has been hacked, and he would help me by remoting in and fixing the problem for me. I just wonder… Is it my PopOs or my Manjaro PC that sends all this info to microsoft?

There’s all the remasters and tweaks as well. Star Wars is the obvious example, but even things like Red Dwarf got messed with with awful looking CGI plastered in.
Just went down the aliexpress rabbit hole again. Theres really everythinf for some of really niche things that i wouldnt ever buy, but some things really do look appealing. I wonder what do you guys use daily thats worth lets say under $20
As a Brit, it’s always weird as fuck to see people in American movies boiling an old tin kettle on the stove like they’re stuck in the 1950s.
Even if you’re living in London’s smallest flat, and all you’ve got is a microwave, a mini fridge, a bed and a cupboard with a toilet in it, you’ve still got an electric kettle.

Why don't public restroom stalls have OPEN/OCCUPIED indicators like porta potties do?
I hate peaking under the stalls or knocking doors to figure it out. The answer is so simple.
