If anything, this thread kind of shows how much people fail to get informed about their smartphone before they buy one.

Literally every single one of these features is available on the market. Most of those phones are actually the quality stuff, like the German produced Gigaset/Volla, or the Dutch (assembled?) Fairphone. But no, you have to go out of your way to get the bottom of the barrel Iphone and Samsung made in China.

Kind of a misunderstanding. Its not “law” they lay down, its archetypes. If it is realistic it means more like it is more relatable.

Immortality and immense power is meant to give a sandbox view of the world with lowered consequences. Also the naive inheritor in case of Invincible.

In case of The Boys, Homelander embodies the establishment that is not only more powerful, but hailed as the hero of all mankind.

Thats lots of peoples vibes. You are not the hero in shining armor. You are an insurgent at best. You dont just get on a suit and start saving lives, but you have to go up aganist THE establishment and fucking prove yourself first. The very thing that is being actively hailed.

I think meh. It is just getting streamlined. We are getting for the next phase of human civilization. We are more like an organism with white blood cells and well separated and controlled compartments of bacteria filled sacks. It is bound to get more homogenous.

Higher civilization means the meaning of biodiversity will change domains.

The meme actually means what it states. That people have money to buy Windows. Most people earn enough to buy their own OS.

It is kind of a blindspot, you cant imagine a meme actually stating people having enough money on hand. And they do, most of them earn a living.

I think people who can afford oled will be able to afford a new one 2 years later when it burns in.

I want oled TV just because I get a ginormous screen for like totally acceptable prices. I dont need 2 monitors or whatever.

You could very easily get ambien prescription at that point. Its like a benzo that has not life threatening addiction issues attached to it. It was very useful for me to get to sleep. It actually makes you sleep better.

I took benadryl to sleep exactly once. I didnt sleep but atleast it made me hear creepy shouting when drifting off and some weird body feel.

Exploitative first half of 20th century factory working conditions with steampunk aesthetics scream Britain for me.

Thinking of America just shows that the reader has no proper contextual (historical) knowledge. Britain was on its zenith, literally the first superpower that existed ever. Literally had sway over colonies larger than the US.

Still, the idea of Dalai lama is ingenious. Panchen Lama searches for Dalai Lama, Dalai Lama searches for Panchem lama.

Panchem Lama can only ever appoint a Boy as the Dalai Lama, once the previous one died. The next Panchem Lama can only ever be appointed once the current one dies. There is not much room for rampant nepotism and generationally growing corruption or power shift.

Also, I find it a totally valid theory for consciousness to be continual. Although not in an “exactly this guy comes next” way.
