I love how this screenshot still has the trimmings of the original device including the battery as if it was necessary for the rest of the meme.

He existed. He shot me in the face with a shotgun. It was the worst trade deal in the history of trade deals, maybe ever.

(I am referring to Jesus in dmz, continuing the meme as shown)

If you ask the people who didnt want the restrictions, the meme was exactly what they said would happen. But I digress.

I found the meme funny. A great satirization of the lockdowns and the arbitrary “10-12 people” imposed. The menace imposed by sending gestapo to hunt thanksgiving parties of all things. Having seen the movie and being relatively learned in history, and have decided to share it 3 years after it was made because I can’t be bothered to Save fresher material.

I like the idea of switching to Linux to break the strangle of windows on my hardware but I don’t know if all my games on Steam, Wargamings launcher and Automatic1111 will work properly if I made that switch. I installed Mint for a friend because I’m semi-literate and feel like messing with that…cmd window “terminal” to do…literally anything installation wise would get irritating.

I want a Linux that is as easy to use out of the box as windows. Will Mint be that way or will I have to spend 5 hours figuring out special words for commands any time I want to install something?

No hard feelings, thought a reaction post would be funny, since they’re popular rn

Developers follow industry leaders. If call of duty can sell a 240gb game (mw3 on ps5 without their launcher) other publishers look and will decide to get lazy optimizing. “We’re not call of duty, our game is ONLY 70gb!” You already see this.

As far as my understanding, it was. Long bowmen were far more valuable because the costs associated with losing a knight was high. Infantry were given various polearms, and cavalry (or knights on horses) were given lances and spears. The kinetic energy from horseback functioned as good or better than trying to wind up swings of a weapon. Also human mobility is less than that of a horse before even accounting for armor, so being demounted from your horse mean almost certain death.

Swords were a last resort. A “running away is better” type of option. Being good with your sword is like being good with martial arts today - better to have it even if you may not use it.
