Looks like it could be rust. Even if it it’s, that’s not really a problem. You can probably get rid of the rust by cleaning the teapot a bit better next time.
I don’t see any problem with continuing to use it in the future. If you’re worried about microbes colonizing the place, remember two things:
That’s just natural selection doing its thing. I don’t think the anti-vaxxer philosophy will completely disappear, but the number of people believing in it will be cut down by various diseases such as covid. Those who survive, will probably be damaged by said diseases, so who knows how well they’ll be able to articulate their thoughts after that.
Yeah swiping is nice if it exists in your language. Seems like a basic feature, but Apple doesn’t mind being 10 years behind everyone else. Still waiting for that awesome swiping feature to roll out. Probably not going to happen any time soon.
Bean for reading and commenting. It has only one issue and hopefully it will be fixed sooner or later. When someone responds to your comment and you tap to see it, you don’t always land on the right spot in the thread. If it’s a short thread, you’ll be fine, but in a long thread you just can’t find where the comment is. In those situations I use Voyager, Thunder or Liftoff. Once Bean fixes that issue, it’s going to be the perfect Lemmy client for me.
