Disney is gouging customers with a near doubling of subscription costs. (sh.itjust.works)

Disney is raking its customers over the coals with a 75% price hike for their annual subscription (originally $80.) People wonder why piracy is on the rise.Multiple commenters are saying I’m off base about the 75% price increase. My payment less than a year ago was $79.99. Here’s the proof.

I can tolerate a baked or sauteed spear, but the margin for error is too damned small, and either side of it makes it unpalatable.

-Raw is perfectly fine for most veggies.
-Steaming is an easy method, if raw is unpleasant or if the veggie is more woody.
-Blanche and shock make a cooked veggie divine!
-Sauteed (with plenty of butter) until fork tender on the stove top also helps.
-Baking on a sheet tray, covered in olive oil and salt / pepper make a lot of veggies shine

The main issue with all of those is understanding cook times, which takes trial and error.

I prefer Xmas to just be year round, without the concentrated music.

Just dilute it. I don’t care when it’s in stores. I care that it’s beat into your head for a couple months and then poofs, only to come again next year.

Also, stop making egg nog only around Xmas! I want it year round as well!
