This is an perfect example of the empty room fallacy also a pretty funny meme as well

Essentially the empty room fallacy is where you can’t use any public social media platforms or say these things in public but you can say these things in a empty room. Is that still free speech. No that’s absurd. The purpose of speech is to be able to communicate share ideas common interests to talk to one and another and to be able to challenge political ideas in a open and free manor and you can’t do that on lemmyml. Not unless you want a 14 day ban for thought crime

Ideally we would want to sway away from what lemmy ml is doing even if that involves defederating

I’m not sure about the vaccines as we’re entering Alex Jones territory there that’s not really my place to comment on

but i can say the potential hillbilly has a point in my opinion the covid 19 mandates were poorly miss-managed almost everywhere across the globe. Lots of mom and pop shops had to close doors even some bigger businesses which created alot of job loses and lots of people were affected financially people whom struggled to put food on the table buy petrol pay for the leccy and keep a roof on there head. All this over poorly managed goverments and bureaucrats across the world and on top of this you got governments telling you what todo and if you didn’t follow through with the governments demands you could land your self a heafty fine and some prison time. I can see why people may be starting to get pissed off

I was on the nyc subway when this happened. I was chilling browsing the Web when one my homies hit me up on discord and sent me a gif of a big musslely black man doing the thugshaker I then began to start furiously mastrobating to the picture of the big mussley blackman doing the thugshaker people started looking at me and saying things such as omg and stop it I then in a haste dropped my phone and one by one all the other men in the train started to furiously mastrobate too. My peenis was but a little stub at this point.by the end the entire train was filled with mastrobating men all hovered over one phone playing a gif of a man doing the thugshaker. It only takes a few convincing sock accounts not even 0.1% of there resources and woosh half the userbase of this site.wants a violent uprising and to eat the rich. Especially with a site like lemmy as it already has a really small suspectible and easy-to-manipulate userbase whom will believe anything there spoonfed

I believe and there’s evidence to suggest that both China and Russia both have an industry based upon spreading political propaganda for there own self-gain and interest on the western Internet. Entire office cubicles filled with monitors displaying social media sites big and small.3.5 hard drives filled with tankie memes and "stopping the intolerant " posters computer keyboard’s tapping away while groups of highly intelligent people spread highly sophisticated pieces of propoganda and attempt to silence there opponents and spread lies about them but this is just a conspiracy a CONSPIRACY THEORY

Generally it doesnt really matter but if you can it’s best to avoid using nvidia gpus although they will work under Linux they don’t have as good support doesn’t mean you can’t use a nvidia gpu under linux if you want or have to I mean I’ve got a nvidia gpu in my gaming laptop and while it’s a pain to setup it works somewhat well for gaming

I’ve seen this a couple of times on reddits r/all front page

People like to say that lemmy is a better alternative or much more different with its userbase than reddit but I’ll say that’s rather the opersite it’s got pretty much the same userbase from reddit plus alot of people whom have been banned which makes the stuff you do see here alot less welcoming and alot more poloarising it alot of the content I see on all is tankie or extreme alt left memes I get comedy is subjective and all but me personally im surprised anyone finds any those memes funny most unfunny memes I’ve seen in my life and reposts like this sprinkled in with a shit ton of rage bait news articles

You can take a redditor from reddit but you can’t take the reddit out of the redditor
