I don’t believe there are any states trying to influence. Lemmy although you just can’t be certain these days. I do think it’s possible lemmys the perfect breeding ground for propoganda especially considering a good chunk say 40% of lemmy are tankies tankies is a term to decribe someone whom holds marxist/stalinist/Communist politcal views and are very suspectible to propoganda.

A life of misery onto the child

You know that just because the kid might have a chance to develop mental disabilities doesn’t mean the child is going to have a life of ‘‘misery’’ the child might be able to live a full life, the child might require a bit of support or might require alot of support depending on the severity of the child’s mental disabilities

Plus who the fuck are you to decide whenever a life is worth living or not. This decision in this very specific situation should be upto both the parents and doctors

I rarely see offensive memes and I don’t get why anyone would seek them.

Maybe because some people like that style of humor. Lots of people love dark humor like me for example same as lots of people like other forms of humor such as dad jokes or surreal humor. Humor is subjective what you personally may. not find funny others may find hilarious

I see way to much stuff which fits in the “tankie” category.in my honest and earnest opinion I think these people are entitled to an opinion I also believe that these people are able to express that opinion but so are the hundreds of other communities that these people may not like I see some of these tankies not exclusively tankiesvictimising some of the Christian communities here on lemmy this is an example from a little research and speaking to some these people from these communities I’m sure there’s many more examples
