Am I weird for thinking McDonald’s soft serve is decent? I see a lot of people joking it’s not ice cream.

I’m an Android developer and have owned a huge amount of cables and use them an absurd amount for times. Unfortunately I didn’t have a good experience with Anker cables. They seem to die on me as fast as other brands, usually what happens is phone connection ends up being hit or miss after a lot of use (eg. You have to wiggle it or the connection is lost if the cable is lightly disturbed).

From my personal experience UGreen is currently holding the record for longest lasting cables. So far they have outlasted all of my other cables to the point where almost all of the cables I have left are UGreen because all of the other cables have failed.

I’m in the same boat. I’ve bought their cables at least 3 times at 3 different points in my life. All of their cables have failed within about a year. That being said I use them extremely heavily because I’m an Android app developer. I have many test devices and I’m constantly plugging in new devices and sometimes have up to 3 devices connected at the same time. I’m also not just charging the devices as I’m transferring data between the computer and device.

I keep coming across relatable posts followed by someone saying it’s ADHD and it’s making me paranoid whether it’s just good ol internet spreading fake news or memes or if I actually have ADHD. I don’t think I have ADHD but I have to question myself every time this happens.

I dropped a screw once and found it in another room. Both the room I was in and the room it ended up in had its doors closed.

I mean there is a big enough gap for the screw to roll under so to the screw there is no door but it was still unexpected.

Ok I have to confess. I remembered more about the incident and it wasn’t a screw. I was putting together a gunpla (plastic Gundam model) and it was one of the pieces.

What is your unpopular flim opinion

I’ll go first. Mine is that I can’t stand the Deadpool movies. They are self aware and self referential to an obnoxious degree. It’s like being continually reminded that I am in a movie. I swear the success of that movie has directly lead to every blockbuster having to have a joke every 30 seconds

I’ve also been focusing on characters who aren’t talking during a scene but are part of the scene. It gets extra awkward when there is a large group. Eg. 8 main cast members on screen, one guy talking for 5 minutes without interruption and all 7 other members just stare at them. Those scenes start to feel really artificial when you look at the other characters who just stare and listen. It gets even worse if one or most of those characters is portrayed as an asshole. I’m here thinking like no fking way at least one person doesn’t cut into someone else’s dialog IRL.

I’m so glad I made games as a hobby before I got anywhere close to graduating. Killed that dream real fast. It felt like shit having to play your own game so many times the game lost all meaning and it was hard to gauge if it was even fun anymore.
