What's a movie you don't really watch but your damn proud to have on your shelf?
Okay, I've read Berserk, had cries and laughters, but vomited from the Gantz. What another manga should I read?
I have a deep connection to Junji Ito’s works and realy enjoy beautifully drawn graphical violence. But not that cheap and stupid like it’s done in Gantz. I strive for something more meaningful, moreso if it’s a long manga that is availiable on the bay. Do you have some suggestions akin to Bers or Ito’s Spiral?

How Do I Avoid Giving Home Address to Bank?
I’ve heard of things like iPostal and Traveling Mailbox. Do these services allow you to register with bank, DMV, IRS, Voting, etc? How do they work? Would a normal P.O box using its physical address from USPS work? I’ve tried researching it and haven’t gotten clear answers....

If reality wasn't wholly rational, could one ever come to terms with it, or would one rationalize it instead?
Also how would one come to recognize reality’s irrationality anyway? By which I should clarify, when I say reality I mean the whole of existence, beyond everyday society which is a mush of reason, emotion, and ambiguous causation. In turn, when I’m talking about irrationality, I don’t mean emotionality or ambiguous...

Sanity check - is rsyncing to a remote computer that has zfs snapshotting an okay way to back things up?
I currently have two computers, one that has a big zfs raidz pool that I currently back everything up to. Right now, on my local computer I use rsnapshot to do snapshot backups via rsync to the remote zfs pool. I know I’m wasting a ton of space because I have snapshotting in the rsync backup, and then the zfs pool is...

Salmon slightly freezer burned - will it still be edible?

Jellyfin video stutters on some files (all MKV it seems)
Hello fellow selfhosters! I reformatted my USB hard drive from exFAT to XFS because I needed a filesystem that could handle hardlinks. I remounted the hard drive and now jellyfin webUI has a severe stuttering problem on some videos, all of them are MKV but it may be a coincidence. On android (using exoplayer) the same files...

[DISCUSSION] The "Golden Age" of Live-Action Revival Films Based on Classic TV Shows
I recently re-watched “The Flintstones” (1993). It both reminded and blew me away by how well they revived the classic animated series and brought it to life in such amazing detail while staying perfectly true to the source material....
