I was just running through these, and, I think they’re rather illuminating....

If you create a community, please try and populate it with content. I see a lot of new communities with 0-1 posts from the mod. That’s not nearly enough to get people engaged - users are going to see that it’s a ghost town and leave....

So I’m trying to bridge to physical locations together. At one location I control the firewall and at the other I don’t. I would normally use Wireguard but its all dynamic IPs so it would break every so often....

Why are apps like Fairemail, Voyager, etc. updated so often? Why don’t they collect the changes and release them once a month or something like that?...

As the title suggests, the IPTV service 4kiptv.tv sites are no longer working. Either they pulled the plug themselves or were getting shut down....

There are a myriad of news articles here on Lemmy that display the abhorrent influence billionaires have on our society (especially the US, where I reside). I consistently read comments where the posters appear hopeless and despondent of the situation, while others jokingly refer to the guillotine....

I really like to post OC edits, but there seems to be absolutely no great solution. I don’t have the storage space or good internet to self-host PeerTube, catbox.moe seems to be hit or miss, uploading huge video files to an instance is just rude, and YouTube tries to deny the privacy of the viewer and uploader at every turn....

Would be fun to build an editor that by itself is better than emacs when it comes to handling a single character buffers and integrate it with the rest of emacs. Sunday hacking time ;)

When doing a search for community names, it would be cool to also see the instance name a community is located on. (The user count of the community is still useful.)...
