@Blaze hmmm, why yes it is. I don't know why that community does not come up for me no matter what I search on kbin.run I'm all for joining an existing community as long as I can interact with it.
I'm pretty sure kbin.run federates with lemmy.ml. odd
@retrieval4558 thanks! Please lend a hand getting is started and post a couple of your favorite pieces of SciFi content. We have a book list and art list starting which is a good place to start.
I get my comics on getcomisc.org or Soulseek. The first one has good sources and a few collections, although nothing I’d call an actual “bulk”. With Soulseek you can download the batches of your choice.
@yuunikki Nice, this is a great trove. I thought initially that they only had single issues, but it looks like there is pretty good selection of full story lines. Thanks for replying.
I have tachiyomi but it gets rate limited if you download a lot
Really? Guess I haven’t been downloading much…only a few manga with 500+ chapters and page counts in the thousands, in the span of a day. Still not been capped.
Not sure about a do-all solution for the Manga side of things other than some outdated archive torrents or things hidden in the depths of usenet, but a free program called FMD2 can automate the downloading and CBZ-ifying of manga from hundreds of sources. it can act like a sonarr for manga once set up with series you follow and of course you can bulk download just at a slower rate due to the same limiting.
PopcornTime is unsafe and should not be used Stremio is a good alternative and for your Music I recommend Spotx
Note: Spotx Does not use torrents but instead removes ads from Spotify you will also need a Spotify account and this is a good list of addons for Stremio also movie-web Is a lot better than PopcornTime and Stemio but does not use torrents
