I believe 1.0.152 is meant to be the version compatible with the new Lemmy release, and it works pretty well as a guest user. Unfortunately, when I try to login to lemmy.ml (which uses the new server version), I get Error: An unknown error has occurred....
Thinking of trying to morph my Leap workstation into Tumbleweed (and potentially Slowroll once that project matures enough). I’ve seen that you can do it . I reckon I can rollback relatively easily via the BTRFS snapshots if it goes sideways, but just curious to see what others’ experience with doing so has been.
If it were possible to run LLMs without a significant investment to GPU prowess, this problem wouldn’t be very relevant. However, the bigger FOSS LLMs require a lot of power to run....
