Second try at making limoncello; the peels were infused for 8 weeks in a locally distilled 45% gin. Used a coffee filter to filter out any impurities, and I think I trapped too much of the oils… leading to a crystal-clear liqueur, rather than the cloudy-neon-yellow I was going for. Oh well. If Facebook made their content compatible with activity feed could I potentially subscribe and interact with (for example) my dad’s posts only so that I can keep up with family without having to visit (or have a) Facebook myself?

It’s technically possible, but I put the chance of it happening at 0.1%. I don’t even see them (properly/fully) implementing ActivityPub in Threads.

This is probably cost reduction. I know they have a significant amount of redis. That’s all in-memory database storage.

Hello, we are migrating legacy chats to the new platforms and, unfortunately, only data for 2023 is replicated.

So they knew this would happen and still didn’t notify users in advance so they could save their message history?

Sound pretty on-brand for that shitwagon.
