Kind of a late post since I’ve been sick for the last couple of weeks, but here are the three patterns I made and gave out as presents this year! Hope everyone had a great Christmas!

If you need to run Grafana on the Guix System this post is the right place. In this example we’ll setup Grafana to read metrics from the same machine it’s run upon, but you can adapt this to use a remote datasource.

Okay, you’re not going to believe this, I was permanently banned from r/Piracy for no apparent reason! All I did was ask for help to acquire a free version of some softwares that could be useful....

For a little over a month now, when playing videos on firefox, VLC, or any other application, I get infrequent stutters. This is with or without hardware accelleration. It’s as if the video pauses briefly. If multiple videos are playing, even across different applications, each of them will be effected at the same time....

I found this little fella (as well as a number of his friends) outside. It’s cold and wet, so I brought them in where they can get warm and dry out. Remember folks, if you’re cold they’re cold.

I got the mOnkrus “Master Collection 2024” and I cannot use Premiere Pro or After Effects without getting that “The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application.”...

Zero chill factor. Every post has to have a dissertation under it explaining how its problematic. Reddit/Twitter reposts that make you nod your head in agreement get mindlessly upvoted. Even communities that should be more off-color get relegated to the most normie shit possible. Lemmy feels homogenous as fuck. /rant

Lemmy is having a few hiccups for me, but as I reminisce, it’s far from the worst experience I had with glitches, so as long as people know why the double posting is occurring.
