Really detailed and cool response from the kernel developer. I also found the use of the recent BPF feature to provide a workaround until a proper kernel fix lands really interesting.
As a long time Linux user, if kernel broke anything for me, and it used to fairly regularly, I would just roll back to previous kernel. Fedora makes it easy, by default you can just boot into previous version by selecting it in grub menu.
File a bug, roll back, keep the bug report subscribed and only update after it’s fixed.
The interoperability of Fediverse platforms is so cool!!! Don't even have to leave the site you're on to contact someone in a completely different style of site. I love to see it.
