Random story, can’t remember who I was talking to but recently was sharing with a group over “getting expelled”/“overreactive schools” stories, and some parent shared how their son got expelled for 2 weeks because there were so many girls dressed up as Wednesday (costume event) that he was like, “look, we got Wednesday Addams, Thursday Addams, Friday Addams,” and the teacher said someone quote “MIGHT HAVE BEEN offended” (as in no student even explictly complained!!).
Which is just really sad because to me that’s actually a kind of wholesome and fun joke, which is rare. I can think of a lot crueler things kids might say in that situation.
