Do you need energy? So there's something called the pineapple diet (please ask your doctor first) where you eat pineapple for three days to lose weight. Biggest problem here is the spam, so I guess you'd have to use some sort of food that can be rehydrated like soylent.
We’ve been given no information on the accuracy of the machine’s predictions. Therefore, we have to assume it has just as good of a chance of being wrong as being right. There’s essentially a 50/50 chance that box B has $1,000,000,000 regardless of my choice, so I would choose the option that at least guarantees the smaller prize while still giving me the same chance at the larger prize.
I had a similar thought a while back. I got into making pens. There's a bit of a learning curve and some equipment necessary to get started, but once you get the hang of it, you can turn $20 of materials into $100+, and people with money to blow go nuts for them. I sold 3 pens for $300 to one person not so long ago.
Biggest thing you'll need is a lathe. I got a Wen lathe on amazon for like $150. Get some carbide turning tools for like $40 and you're mostly set.
I meant, let’s imagine the machine predicted B and is wrong (because I take A+B). I would call that scenario „I have free will - no determinism.“ Then I will have 1.000.000.000 „only“. That’s a good result.
Except that's not the worst case. If the machine predicted you would pick A&B, then B contains nothing, so if you then only picked B (i.e. the machine's prediction was wrong), then you get zero. THAT'S the worst case. The question doesn't assume the machine's predictions are correct.
In my experience there is already such a wealth of professional and hobby products out there that it's impossible to break into the market. Find something you like and just do it as a hobby if you can recoup any of the cost selling what you make that's great but it shouldn't be the main focus. The worst thing that can happen to a hobby is it becoming a job.
It's pretty hard to make money crafting, but doable, and I think you just need to understand that going in. So I think what's most important is that you enjoy doing that particular craft. The selling is just icing.
Leather working, Jewelry, Tye dye, Hand made rugs...what do YOU like? Experiment, and find out.
It really just comes down to what you enjoy most and that you aren't expecting to make a full time job out it.
thank you and im more looking for something to start with that isint a full time job but more of a sidehustle, also how can i do commisions becasue fivver seems overcrowded so i might need to do things locally, maybe.
Yea I know, I'm just saying that side hustle is more just a product of you enjoying yourself and being creative. You should start first with finding what you actually like to do. I'd just try some stuff till something sticks you know?
It may be a while before your confident to put a price tag on it.
Comission is great, especially locally, depending which craft you do. I would consider this only after you found your groove.
Hope you find something worthwhile to spend your time on.
Not sure if that’s the type of creativity you’re looking for, but it’s quite common to sell stickers on Etsy, Redbubble and similar sites. Some stores are quite successful on it.
I don't have a specific worst. The best was when I was complaining about my [then] wife for the umpteenth time. I don't remember which sub it was. Someone responded with, "Are you familiar with Borderline Personality Disorder? If not, you should look it up."
I did look it up. It explained everything I had seen up to that point. It is as like someone had written a text book about my wife. I was both relieved and terrified.
That was the starting point of getting out of that awful abusive relationship and getting my life back on track.
I’m glad you got out of that situation. Just a few days ago Cinema Therapy made a video about Anakin Skywalker and they said he shows many characteristics of Borderline Personality Disorder.
Of course, you can have BPD and not be an absolute abusive asshole but when they are, it’s horrible for the victims.
I think the point of these bots is that they try to make themselves appear not like bots in order to steer the direction of discussions. That and upvoting the agendas they want to push and downvoting perspectives they disagree with.
Good: I got support from people when things in my DnD group got weird.
Bad: Once, I asked a technical question that I had asked people irl and researched a lot and not found what I was looking for. On reddit, I had people making assumptions and nitpicking the terminology while avoiding the actual question completely. It was a good example of the CS/math departments friction (which makes a whole lot more sense to me now). I did get a better answer on another site by just posting the equation and using zero jargon but I ended up abandoning that topic bc it was impractical.
