Trans etc. are always a minority, obviously. They would not have to fight for their rights otherwise.
no one should have to fight for their right, but that doesn’t change the fact that non-trans people enjoy customizing their os as well. so answer to the original question is yes, it is a loud minority.
and people were actually more used to stuff like that, so they were, figuratively, less retarded. they were used to using their hands and they were aware their actions have consequences, so they were more careful.
as opposed to contemporary mindset of “oh no, i have just fucked up, lets find someone who i can blame for that instead of my own stupidity”.
the plugins are already built-in in the standard installation, you just have to enable them before first use and that is it. after that you just use the search box.
you have to enable them before first use, but they are already there. you don’t need to bring in your own list of what you want to install (unless you want to expand on the default list).
maybe this can vary in time or between platforms or something, i am not quite sure about that, but this is how my ubuntu installation behaved.
i have been using qb for a long time and i don’t remember ever having to manually add them. i have also been using it on a windows machine, directly downloaded from qb website. it is definitely not some ubuntu customization.
she clearly stated her wish when she chose her nickname.
With all the actual assholes out there it’s ignorant as fuck to be so reactionary on someone else’s behalf when the person you’re attacking is likely on the same side as you.
i am not attacking anyone. i merely laughed at the absurdity of virtue signaling and at the same time doing the exact opposite of what you are trying to signal. it could have ended there, but you decided to die on this weird hill.
I’m sure there’d be no reaction at all if you called them they. Feel free to watch I guess since I did it.
oh my god, such sick burn! no one immediately rushed to complain about whatever you did in an obscure corner of the internet? well that absolutely validates your position, because that is exactly how it works. 😂
well, then i would say not having any other facebook apps and important information that could be stolen by the instagram in the phone, or use it in web-browser in some privacy mode or separate container, something like that. use disposable email.
using wifi in mcdonald is silly advice, i guess you are not being hunted by some secret service, there is really not much somone can do with your ip address, which is most likely dynamic and nated anyway. if you had some fixed ip address that would identify you, that might be another story.
Currently using Voyager as my main app, was just wondering if there was a way to group communities so that I can just scroll through one group at a time. For example, I would have a group just for stock market related communities or a group just for gaming communities. Does this feature exist?
As Lemmy starts maturing, there starts being so many communities out there that it’s pretty hard to keep track. I’ve been browsing for about a month now, here’s a list of popular communities I’ve subscribed to that others would find interesting!...
i had to unsubscribe from !technews@radiation.party because it is borderline spam.
i am not talking about quality of the posts, lot of these links are quite interesting, but there is so many of them that it just took over my feed and i want to see something else occasionally :D
there should be a feature to subscribe to community but exclude it from feed, or somehow limit it to max x posts per y time or something…
