You can just ask, people will probably answer

Merge into !food and define thresholds when you will reopen niche communities

No ideas either. I remember you were quite active in the previous community, feel free to comment in the new one so I can appoint as a mod if you are interested

Thanks!

Small promotion for !personalfinance, the community is usually quite helpful

From lestat.org, it seems down indeed.

If the owner didn’t let any contact info, we’ll probably never know. Sorry for the loss of your account

@lemmy_support Is programming.dev having issues?

Can't access it at all from from neither browser nor android apps

Works fine on my side now

Seems reasonable. Currently, they have 13k monthly users while Lemmy has 37, so not too bad

What did you say? Lemmy.ml is known to be quite biased towards China’s regime

Blaze,

99,7% for the last 7 days seems pretty stable: lemmy-status.org/endpoints/_lemmy-ml

Also, !asklemmy and !memes are some of the biggest communities on Lemmy, people don’t seem to complain too much

Blaze,

IIRC, the lemmy.ml admins paid for the domain name. I saw a comment from them a while back

Blaze,

Communick.news seems to be at 99,79%, is it that bad?

lestat.org

On that website, lemmy.ml is 99,93

There’s always a risk, but if that happens I guess we’ll have bigger fish to fry than the comics community

On the other hand, it currently already has 4 thousands subs, definitely easier to revive it than starting another one from scratch
