why yes I’d like to buy all of your towels

…sir, um.

now I’d like to sue you for fraud!

So… my focus is more on the implications of this.

A dictator tells his people the women in his country need to have more kids.

That could be really really really bad.

Like,… hundreds of thousands of women strapped to machines bad.

If they smoked, they’d be dead.

I wouldn’t have to look at them anymore.

I feel like the Steam Deck is the best proof of Gabe Newell's quote that "piracy is a service issue."

They could have easily crammed the Steam Deck full of stuff to make it hard to use for piracy - locking down everything, making it usable only to play games you legitimately own, force you to go through who knows what hoops in order to play games on it. That’s what Nintendo or Apple or most other companies do....

Here’s my piracy shtick.

I beat half of Blasphemous on a pirated copy then I bought it, moved the save file and kept playing.

Criteria: I like the game. I’ll probably play it again in ten years and I want to support the devs.

What would’ve happened if I never pirated it? I’d be saying the same thing about someone else’s game.

Saving this one. Thanks, man for the heads up

I quit using Arch after about ten years of using it because Team Fortress 2 quit working and none of the resolutions on protondb fixed my issue.

Priorities, people.

See, I did all that… and then audio broke. So, I couldn’t anymore, man. I probably could’ve copied the install, kept it updated and held it for a resolution but I just don’t demand that much from my builds anymore really. I went with Mint with XFCE and haven’t had a single issue since install. I’m good. If it comes down to Ubuntu’s base, a lot more eyes will be on the problem and I’ll sort it out then.

My mom after feeding me canned green beans for years watching me wolf down green beans at my house

“You hated veggies when you were a kid.”

…sure, mom

At least his kids won’t die in the irradiated wasteland of the post-apocalypse, if they’re lucky.

If the wheel was emotional pain, I think it would be more appropriate.

I use a FF extension that routes videos to mpv from the context menu.

For my phone, I use Vanced

For my Android TV, I use Smarttube.

Note: very dependent on a recent yt-dlp on your system. Install it manually using yt-dlp from their website and drop it into your path unless you use Arch or something bleeding edge.

Sounds more like a BSD problem and less like a Docker problem.

Blockchain hype

Dead, buried, brought back to life, shot, brought back to life again and grafted to AI, beaten with a shovel, and currently laying in its own piss hoping 2024 is better to it.

Oh and Swift is apparently using chainlink for bank transactions, although most are wondering why on earth this would make chainlink holders any richer instead of the dev team and Sergey himself.

(it won’t)

It’s one of those games that basically… is mods. Want a car? Someone’s modeled it and put it into the game. Wait to use a wheel and shifters? Go for it. Want to crawl a mountain in a V8 behemoth with giant tires? Go for it. Want to send an 18-wheeler into a stack of buses at the end of a jump ramp? Go for it.

Lodge is one of the brands Walmart sells that doesn’t fit the mold of anything else in the store.

I wish they’d sell a chef’s knife or some other chef’s knife with vg-10 steel for $50. I’d buy one. Their knives are embarrassing.
