Manufacturers like Samsung and Motorola have their own version of the app in the play store, without disclosing it. Unless you have a custom phone or got lucky you might not be stock
It’s a trade off. Unfortunately it seems that a lot of companies have figured out that making things more premium for fewer people means making the same amount of profit for less work

You can always stop paying or switch platforms. In my experience, it’s always good to switch every couple years for a lot of services online. It seems to be long term users that most often get milked
Vanced and revanced are modded versions of the youtube app that block ads and enable premium stuff without paying for that. I used to run that while I had premium, cuz it is actually a lot better than the stock youtube app even apart from blocking ads
