Nerds, I need ideas for my college project that should resemble the below GitHub project - Event Planner. (github.com)

I’m looking for a good idea that should be easy, but unique, and never existed, or maybe not. The web application ought to resemble the GitHub project, however, it should incorporate a distinct concept. Using Next.js and MongoDB....

Brainsploosh,

For programming, you should probably be able to copy that project design.

If you want to make it difficult for yourself, you pick a user or use case to optimise for.

Maybe you make it a wargaming centered booking and matching site (for ladders and weekly games type tournaments)?

Maybe you make it conference centre based, giving appropriately sized suggestions and showcase the rooms?

Maybe you make it for yourself and add schedule sync, or notifications, or whatever you’ve always been missing from your calendar app.

Brainsploosh,

Enough to cover my living expenses, working expenses, retirement fund, savings, etc. at about 8-12 hours of work/week.

Brainsploosh,

For varying levels of retirement and savings, this is what non-agricultural humans have done for most of the history of our species.

Brainsploosh,

If you read the article it says that the data is from FBI

Brainsploosh,

Then you should probably revise where you get your information from. Seems reality doesn’t conform to your beliefs.

Um, what?

I’m just reminding you of basic defence against information warfare, something that’s much too easy to forget.

In case you’re unfamiliar with the framework, ASU has a convenient summary.

It’s a decent way to stay sane® on the internet, and a good way to not aid the enemy in their misinformation campaigns.

Oh, so that’s why! Here I thought y’all were shufflin

Brainsploosh,

There are standards for such ratings, and several countries have mandated minimums, which lead to longer and healthier lives.

Ah, but they gave him back story and motivation.

Spoiler warning: He wasn’t purely evil for evil"s sake, he just tried to rebuild society for the scions of humanity, and had already discarded the normies (can’t remember the term they used) as primitive, albeit barbaric, creatures.

The genius of Bester is that he was so self assured and uncontested, making him almost cartoonishly evil, but also that he was so essentially human. Driving home the major themes of the series: the dangers of unchecked power, the human drive to self determination, and that wielding power over others perpetuates a cycle of violence.
