Because of browser security I think TiddlyWiki has gotten a bit hard to use. 10 yrs ago I could write and update files without any security popups or cli flags or admin permissions.
Agree. Linux isn’t that hard but there is a bit of a learning curve and you shouldn’t gamble your business on your ability to pick up a brand new OS. If you can afford support or an “IT Guy” then take the plunge. For general clerical stuff there should be zero compatibility issues.
Been years since I ripped a disc but DVDFab is probably a good place to start. It still it exists, I just found out, and it looks like they have a streaming ripper too. It never failed me when I tried to rip a disc.
You can do what my 4yo did before his last surgery: shout out “WAIT WAIT WAIT!” right before they put on your mask or give you the drip, then hold out your fist and say, “FIST BUMP!”
I think you have a good compromise of donating to their cause. Personally I wouldn’t have gone and had a talk with my kids about the importance of standing up for your beliefs (and sorry if you want to go anyway, you’re not old enough to drive). Even if the money’s been spent I wouldn’t go as it still hurts the moral of strikers and reinforces the scabs decision to cross the line.
