Imagine being too stupid to properly hold your phone.

Nothing and everything. The trick is knowing which is which.

Edit: I see someone couldn’t tell the difference.

Take a look at Simplex.

That’s probably the flipside of polling-based updates.

Is an unknown supervisor password for ThinkPad bios an issue if I've already installed linux?

I purchased a second hand ThinkPad from an ebay outlet. When it arrived I wiped windows 10 from it and installed ubuntu with no issues. It runs perfect without any weird fixes needed. However, after just checking the bios to see if I could change some settings, I realised it has a supervisor password....

You can either try to contact the seller and ask for the password or just erase the UEFI settings by shorting some jumper or something. There should be instructions how to do that for your specific model.

But I have to fight the stupid OS to give me useful information. I have to install 3^(rd) party stuff. By default you only get this useless error reporting tool. Even if you report an error your likely to never hear from anyone and the chance of the error being fixed is virtually nonexistent.

On Linux the necessary information is usually readily available. The worst offender in my experience is Steam itself. You can get logs from games fairy easily. But if Steam misbehaves things can get more complicated.

It’s technically running. I doubt anyone claimed it would be playable.

Honestly not surprised. You’re running that on a, what, 15 year old potato? Yes, Skyrim isn’t the most modern game, but that GPU was intended for desktop use, back then. I’m actually impressed that it runs at all. I’d half expect the game to just crash because it requests something that dinky GPU simply cannot provide.

So? You’d refuse to use a tool that does most of the work because you don’t wanna use the tool that does the rest?

Chais,
@Chais@sh.itjust.works avatar

I’m not sure there even exists a way to fully automated it, as that would require automatically identifying the relevant tracks/files and looking up the metadata. I’m not sure there is such a database.

Same as any other season. Not at all 😉

Ok, I’ll bite. Why is banning only menthols racist?

Is it depressing comics week again?
