Almost every star has a planetary system or at least asteroid rings. There are 100 billion stars in our galaxy alone. If any civilization has mastered FTL travel, there is literally unlimited free real estate everywhere and thus no need for wars. Simply hop to another star system.

The bended knee schitck should go away. Marriage should be approached the same way companies approach mergers: via sober meetings and lawyers. Both sides should understand that marriage is more than romance and sex, but an economic and social union too. As with any mergers, a lot of money will be involved, so there is no space for surprises.
The best charity work in terms of bang for the buck is to do what you do for a living but for free. E.g., if you’re a programmer, contribute to an opem source project. If you’re a lawyer, do pro bono work. If you’re a builder, go repair poor people’s houses etc etc.
Palm oil is used because it has the highest yield per hectare and requires little maintenance after fully grown. This means kg per kg, palm oil uses less land compared to any other oil crop. The tree keeps fruiting for 5-10 years, requiring no replanting for the duration, unlike soy or corn which needs replanting each harvest. Replanting uses more pesticides, fertilizers and degrades the soil. The tree also pretty much can grow anywhere in the tropics. You have to cancel out all of these advantages before saying you have created an alternative.
A country that has to “reclaim” ecologically important marshes and seabed, should not be using such land for worthless crops that uses tons of fertlizers and pesticides but you can’t even eat them. At least plant grains.
