Please understand: I mean this in a very, very loving way. Lemmy has so much content and so many references that I do not understand but it’s awesome seeing all these passionate communities outside of my usual circles.
I was going to say 18-34 would be more believable. With most of them full supporters of “That’s what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age.”
Sorry if this was asnwered before, but couldn’t find it. I can’t seem to find any groups that usually release really small sized 4k rips like rarbg used to do. Movies went from ~5GB to ~20GB, and I really can’t tell that much difference in quality that justifies 4x the size....
QxR and TGxGoodies (not sure if I spelled the names correctly) have decent 4ks that clock in at about 7 GB. I personally go for the ~20 GB size files but when I can’t find them I’ll get the smaller.
Also, supposedly TGxGoodies is a reuploader of stuff from Torrent Galaxy .to.
I also get these Italian & English ones that clock in at ~20 GB. They are good enough quality but not my first choice. Audio and subtitles stay at English for me because of the Plex settings. Not sure if they start in Italian otherwise.
American and urban? I’ve noticed that all a lot of black people in and near cities pronounce the L. I always get a chuckle and they look at me like I’m a pompous British/French general from the 1800s or an idiot that can’t pronounce Ls.
Yesterday there was a controversial movie torrent that was getting 1000s of downloads and was on the “popular this week” page, and today it’s just gone. I went to the uploader’s account page and it’s not there either. Just like it never existed....
I remember the game being introduced to me whilst in highschool in the early 90s. It was introduced to me by my stoner friends. I lost it a few times during highschool because it was a thing along with getting punched if looking at the circle. I definitely lost it in 1997 when the movie The Game came out. I have lost it many more times as the years grind on.
I rocked a Samsung Alias 2 for 4 years before I got an iPhone 5. The e-ink keyboard was awesome how it changed when you flipped the screen open to portrait or landscape.
uConnect sucks. It will literally take 10 to 15 seconds to finalize the connection in my wife’s van. Sometimes I wait for it and sometimes I just have Bluetooth off and listen to my phone through its own speakers.
I’m an ISO 8601 guy but the MM/DD does make sense in American. We’ll say Oct 20th for a date and then straight translate that to numbers 10/20. It makes more sense than counting in French. Ex. 60, 70, 80, 90

RARBG like 4K rips, any group making similar sized movies?

When a Torrent disappears from 1337x, how do you find out what happened?

People of Lemmy that take more than 5 seconds to start your car and drive, what are you doing?
As the title says…what are you all doing?
