Because me being unable to come in meant my boss has to cover that shift and he had already proven himself to be terrible at it

I’ll never forget the time my boss call me to have me come in to cover a shift that night while I was chilling on a mountain looking over to Mt Adams while eating my lunch

I was surprised my phone even rang given the location, he was surprised when I told him I was 9 hours from my apartment

I sent him a picture to prove where I was

He was not amused but he did tell me to take a bunch of pictures since I was out there

All in all it was a good day

Basically shoes that are super wide for your toes and have no difference in height between your heel and the balls of your feet

They also are typically quite light weight

They take a little getting used to at first but after the little break in period there really nice

Typically it’s due to shoes

I spent a lot of time barefoot as a kid and now I wear barefoot shoes when not at work, I walk on the balls of my feet

My roommate slams his heels into the ground hard enough I can tell when he gets home as I can hear him walking up the stairs outside the apartment

He wore shoes all the time as a kid and primarily wears boots

Having a sale price adjusted for local currency would likely go a long way, and I don’t mean just a price conversion I mean an adjusted sale price. Some regions 9£ is a lot of money vs their monthly income and others it’s not much at all.

Not so much currently (in the case of Russia) as you likely can’t sell it there due to sanctions, but in general that would help a lot in boosting sales vs piracy.

The worst is when someplace becomes private property after being open to the public for a long time

I haven’t done the full length of one but I’ve gone pretty far down one before

Basically you just need to figure out who owns the land and depending on that would depend on if you can legally or not

When I did it though I didn’t check first because I was basically banking on the fact it was near a national forest so if someone stopped me I’d claim (accurately) that I didn’t know it wasn’t a part of the national forest. Of course I’m not sure if it is a part of it or not, but if I did get stopped at least I’d know for sure. I didn’t get stopped but I did have a nice day out there.

That’s the fun thing about morals, everyone is operating with a different set of morals. Often similar, but some are drastically different.

And sometimes the things that fit within their moral outlines would shock other people

Usually I show them how far my forklift can place their freight without scooting it (which is never far enough (only when they complain about the potential for scratches)) then mention, “Unfortunately without scooting it you’ll have to load this by hand.”

Usually this gets them to relent and then I get to show them how tough the lining is by scooting the freight and not damaging anything

Sometimes though they still don’t want it scooted so they end up having to load it by hand by themselves (I can’t help by hand as it’s a liability thing) which always brings a smile to my face

Literally today some dingus ended up loading 5000lbs of flooring into their F-550 by hand because they didn’t want the rhino lined bed scratched

I work in the freight industry and I handle the dock pickups basically all day, this kind of crap happens all the time

Literally people tell me not to scratch the rhino liner all the damn time, it’s annoying

Layers

Nothing is skin tight

Any exposed skin is going to be a problem

I drive a forklift so how ever cold it is outside I get an additional 8mph of wind-chill

So today is really going to suck as there’s 15mph winds coming in, so in one direction I’m getting 23 mph worth of wind-chill and the other I’m getting 7

Edit: Also overlapping seams are pretty important as gaps can let air flow in when in motion
