Just made salsa last night.

4 tomato 1 onion 1 bunch of cilantro 1 lime 6 Serrano 6 jalapeño 6 habanero Salt

That’s about 1 habanero per small bowl. Most people wouldn’t eat a full habanero, or even taste that salsa.

Never had an issue internally with spicy food.

Done this for fun several time with friends. Not an issue. That da bomb sauce def burns the mouth tho.

Yeah would hate to have big laundry know about my lights and darks being mixed.

Main thing is I get a notification on my phone when it’s done. I’m not always near my washer. Sometimes I forget. The times vary a lot by load size so a timer it’s as good. Saves me time and keeps my clothes from getting moldy

SSRIs definitely work for some people. It’s just that everyone’s brain chemistry is extremely different and complex. Doesn’t make it less scientific. Making the best guess is math and science.

Oysters actually need clean/unpolluted water. What they eat and clean is sediment, phytonutrients, and phytoplankton. Well at least that’s what I was tood by an oyster farmer. They clear the water which is good for the sea grass, and the small fish, which is good for the big fish and so on.

It’s like complaining about a phone charger being left in the socket when the windows are open with the AC on.

Those produce bags weigh like 1/4 of a gram. Those produce reusable bags weigh like 30 grams. Most people lose or break, or toss the reusable produce bags before using them 120 times. It’s feel good bullshit for high consuming Whole Foods shoppers. And it’s a distraction.

To be clear, I’m all for reusable grocery bags, and generally against single use items. But the produce bags are so thin and light, they’re probably the least problematic.

That’s weird. By the time weed was recreationally legalized in Seattle weed being acceptable was old news, and people had been smoking without worry for a decade.

Never seen these cam girls everyone complains about on my twitch feed. I don’t seek that stuff out though either. You can also filter out content in settings, but I’ve never had to. This “problem” seems like a non issue.

I bought a house with an extraordinarily beautiful view. And I can say without a doubt it’s definitely made me a happier person.

Years later, and still enjoy that view as much as I did the first day I moved in.

When borrowing rates are lower than investment returns borrowing just makes good financial sense.

I could pay off my home loan today, but at 2.5% interest why, when I can keep that money and leave it in a safe high return investment? I’d be losing 10s of thousands a year in returns for my retirement to save a few thousand in mortgage interest.

Same thing with cars.

Then again, I don’t even buy new cars. I just get a dependable used Japanese car and drive it until it dies at 300k miles.

People who are addicted or abusing need to check themselves regardless of the psychoactive drug they choose, and stop pretending it matters if their are other worse drugs or not.

Is being able to die the only variable? Seems like a comparison of only the extreme.

Having a few glasses of wine a week with food is fine. Harmless even. Smoking a joint from time to time is fine. Harmless even.

Being dependent on any psychoactive is harmful to one’s mental health regardless.

I wouldn’t want to be a stoner or an alcoholic. And the fact that one daily addiction might be less harmful, by some metric, is meaningless cope.

You’re more likely to die walking down the street than you are while gambling. Guess gambling is a fine addiction, the safest addiction even, while walking is bad habit.

In this case it’s not about body shaming but about shaming a means of compensation. Also it’s not really a literal take. “Big dick energy” has nothing do with actual dick size. And being a “Karen” has nothing to with a persons actual name or gender.

I can put my tools in the back of my truck cabin. And have the entire bed ready for materials.

I’d also never want to go over 40 mph or get on a suburban freeway in a Kei truck. You will die instantly in an accident otherwise. Their are zero safety features. And they’re not comfortable for any trip with any distance.

Kei truck is for people who work for the metropolitan city and never leave, or a university, or a golf course. Not a private contractor.

I live in a blue collar neighborhood. Big trucks owned by tradesmen/women everywhere. They absolutely use them frequently for what they’re capable of. Some of them have a second cars for groceries etc. but I’m glad there are not two cars for every truck because parking would be a bitch, and wouldn’t save much gas. If they were to rent for the “rare trip,” it would be the grocery store. No one is gonna rent for a grocery store trip when they can just happily drive their truck. The store is closer than the rental agency.

Have you ever towed anything? Towing a trailer of that size and weight with a car like that, even if legal, is sketchy as fuck. Especially on hills or mountains. Where I am from its legal to take that picture, it’s not legal to get on the road. For good reason. A capable truck is much safer for that purpose, for everyone.
