They are just on the other side of the propaganda coin and are believing different lies than we do. Hexbears often present with an obnoxious attitude, so I understand why you are annoyed by them.
I had arguments with idiots from “innocuous” instances that think the genocide in Gaza is not a genocide because not enough people have died so far. So there’s idiots everywhere.
There are only a few games that I bought without the opportunity to test them before the purchase. And I don’t mean a scuffed demo that only gives you a very shallow impression of how the different game systems interact with each other, I mean actually being able to play the damn game.
I don’t subscribe to the idea of hype purchasing just to shit on the game after release because it’s inevitably gonna be trash. Last time I made that mistake was with D3, oh boy, was that game a dumpster fire on release. The next thing I’m gonna buy without testing it first will be the Fangs of Asterkarn expansion for Grim Dawn. The devs are awesome, the base game is awesome and the last 2 DLCs were awesome too, so that’s why I don’t need my pirate hat in this instance.
Yeah, it was one of the few games that actually shipped with Linux binaries. Also after like 8 months, they released a huge update with some 10 new maps, new characters and a new game mode as a free download instead of calling it a “DLC” and charging money for it. Back when games were actually made to be played instead of being a marketing platform.
Nah, that’s ok. When you “watch a movie” at home with a group of people, you are not really watching a movie. It just serves as background noise and as an easy fallback for someone that doesn’t want to participate in the conversation.
Mechanically, the remakes are objectively the better games and they also offer more gameplay-wise with new moves, more logical movesets, abilities, nature, actual EV system. The next big improvement was the physical/special split in Gen5.
I still play the gen1 games from time to time tho. They are hilarious.
In gen 1 that would be only Swift, Bide and self-targeting status moves because every 100% accuracy move can miss due to a bug (1/256). Fun fact: you would actually be able to beat the game with these 2 moves because Bide, in gen 1 only, bypasses Ghost’s immunity to Normal moves.
Nope, I always forget it when I go for a check-up because it happens so infrequently. I had that since I was a kid, I remember throwing up at my First Communion because it took forever for the pastor to stop reading from the book.
Sometimes when I stand for too long, I get nausea and stomach cramps. Sitting down or walking cures that. Dunno what triggers that, it’s not a consistent effect, just sometimes.
Thinking about it, it’s even more complicated than that. You’re right that a negative speed would not work since the square of a negative number is positive anyway. But a speed higher than c would result in a negative square root, so no real solution. Also, traveling at exactly the speed of light would divide by zero lol
But maybe our formula is wrong. Or it’s just impossible, who knows?
Backwards time travel is physically impossible. You would need to travel at truly negative speed to achieve it, but the magnitude of speed is always positive.
