The way she treats people isn’t “controversial”, either. Being a shit stain of a person isn’t controversial just because it hasn’t crossed the line into being illegal.

What you mean to say is that she’s polarizing, because she has fans that don’t realize she’s an awful person.

Have it as a distributed network of smaller instances, rather then having everyone pile on to 2 or 3 big ones. It’s easier for admins to notice the bots if their site populations remain relatively small, and it’s easier to defederate from sites that are enabling the bots if they’re not also home to 80% of users.

I was worried when this wasn’t anywhere near the top. These aren’t even my favourite time travel movies, they’re my favourite movies, period, and have been since I was 4.

Yes, tab stacking and tiling keep me using Vivaldi at work. They’re great, and I remain super sad that there’s no real equivalent in Firefox.

I still use Firefox on my personal computers, but I silently weep a little bit whenever it would be super useful to stack or tile tabs.

They are beyond adament that they own your experiences. If they never see a piece of physical media again, they’ll still be upset that their old games are still playable without their say so.

These days, they’re selling software solutions, not just lectures. Now they get to charge a subscription fee on top of everything else!

I work 2000km away from the office. I’ve been there once. When I walked up to the front door for the first time, after 3 years of working there, I was greeted to a locked door and a sign reminding me to “check in on Envoy”. Apparently, they wanted me to reserve my desk a day in advance, online.

No one had ever bothered to show me what that was, or how to do that, because I, uh, work 2000km away from the office. And I wouldn’t have known which desk was next to the microwave because I, uh, work 2000km away from the office.
