Dude it’s such an easy conversion between dongles and whatsits, you just don’t get how intuitive it is. There are 42.48 whatsits in a dongle, and 17.49 dongles in a shlorp. Europeans are overreacting so much
Because what if the lasagna monster is the real one and really hates people worshipping the spaghetti monster and subjects anyone who worships it to eternal damnation?
I think this might come down to what instrument you used. I played clarinet for several years and could never hear the notes in my head, I just associated them with fingerings. Now, I could tell if a note was in tune, but only by hearing it.
On the other hand, if you’re a vocalist of some kind, you need to be able to sing the correct note based on the sheet music. The closest I ever got was getting the correct key and then basically shifting pitch based on whatever key I’m in.
I never took any music theory classes so I’m mostly just talking from my own personal experience
I think you missed the OP’s point about the ongoing enshitification of paid services. From the words of Gabe Newell, "The easiest way to stop piracy is not by putting antipiracy technology to work. It’s by giving those people a service that’s better than what they’re receiving from the pirates.”
The reason why so many people are pirating even when they can afford it is because companies continue to make their services worse for their paying customers. Simply “paying for your content” will encourage these companies to continue their predatory, behavior.
Edit: I think I should add this isn’t really true if you can buy physical copies of the content, but that’s becoming less and less of an option as large streaming services make sure the only way to watch their content legally is buying their shitty subscriptions
I can confirm this. I was able to get a decent job right out of highschool with my certs I got at a technical college. Really as long as you can prove that you’re a fast learner, passionate about tech, and have the skillet to back it up it’s not hard to find a job. In my experience at least, which to be fair is only 6 years
