It’s endlessly funny to me that Orks are among the most brutal, caste-system based, martial strength = legitimate authority, but they are powered by feels.
A Eldar or Guardsman would look at a typical Shoota or Mek built by Orks see a series of parts assembled to a facsimile of the intended device - but it is the Ork’s belief that it will work, that makes it work. In a future where the Imperium will invade whole systems over rumors of ancient human technology that is superior to their creations, Orks pop up from spores and can bullshit themselves to overcome physical laws.
Attack the base of the fire, where the fuel source is. You need to break the fire triangle to stop the reaction, and drowning out oxygen is the easiest way.
Each rated pound of fire extinguisher yields approximately one second of use. They go quickly when you’re fighting any fire, and even small fires fight back. 5lb is the minimum imo, look at any commercial setting where OSHA applies and it’s big 10-20lb tanks generally.
Trainers advise to blow the whole extinguisher even if flames aren’t visible to prevent auto-ignition.
You really, really want a hose on any extinguisher. Invert the extinguisher to get under a car/cabinet/low obstacle and the extinguisher is useless as the pressurized gas escapes, leaving behind the powder/foam/water that actually stops fire.

The US has been in trouble for a long while - you have to wonder how long until the body politic is picked clean by capitalism and people are done with this project we call America. When all the political oxygen is consumed by the loudest fringe voices who achieve nothing of substance, while entrenching their power and prestige. There’s only two ‘viable’ parties, and they want it that way, all while we pretend with the illusion of choice.
But please, tell me how I need not give up, that all I have to do is get involved more local politics, or ‘play the game’ and throw campaign elections at my problems. Gerrymandering, dark money, DNC/RNC funding choking out 3rd party candidates, etc etc. the fix is in, and you and I aren’t in on it.
Having lived in the UK and near the US southern border, they’re both great. Charro and frijoles are sublime, and Heinz baked beans are a superb side dish for potato or meat.
I still can’t enjoy sweet BBQ beans though, Bush’s just tastes like corn syrup with fiber blobs 🤮
