I got one with a dryer that makes that a lot better. It does take too long to fully dry it though, so it’s this middle ground of not too wet to dry off, and not waiting forever for the dryer.

I feel like the Steam Deck is the best proof of Gabe Newell's quote that "piracy is a service issue."

They could have easily crammed the Steam Deck full of stuff to make it hard to use for piracy - locking down everything, making it usable only to play games you legitimately own, force you to go through who knows what hoops in order to play games on it. That’s what Nintendo or Apple or most other companies do....

Costco has seemingly done it as well.

At the very least they are night and day compared to the vast majority of scummy employers out there.

I always find it fascinating that almost all their profit is simply membership fees.

Ya, this game in question wasn’t a port.

They said something about how it was written couldn’t be ported over and they’d essentially need to redo the whole game so it’ll never be brought over.

I have this problem with games, but there’s no rewind on games, and for some reason every game maker has decided that the most critical information you ever get happens when there’s loud sounds going on as some climatic event is happening and you can’t understand a fucking thing they say.

So most of the game I don’t need it, except for what ends up being the most important times I need it and don’t have it, so I have to leave them on in games.

And ya it’s distracting. At best I’m concentrating on not reading them which is distracting itself.

I'm currently downloading a show that is on a service to which I subscribe

I have a Galaxy Tab S7 and for a trip to Spain I downloaded some stuff to watch on the flight. When I got on the plane none of the stuff downloaded on Disney+ would play. Maybe an issue with downloading to the SD card? I don’t know, but regardless Disney offers SD card as a download destination so they should make sure it is...

I’ve had issues where Prime does something weird with HDR and it causes the quality to sometimes plummet.

Only have the issue in Prime on that TV,.so I pirate those shows.

Doesn’t happen with downloaded HDR content or any other service.

Edit: just to clarify, its not all HDR shows on prime. Only some.

Meanwhile our downtown intentionally makes it so you won’t make it more than a light or two for pedestrian safety as it keeps speeds down.

Luckily it’s not a big downtown.
