But instead, in 2013 after said episode was brought up and criticized for being transphobic to the creator, said creator tripled down and became a full on anti-trans “activist” who makes even JK Rowling seem benign by comparison.
The last straw for me was about a decade ago when an update completely broke Chrome on my machine. It would open and immediately crash, even after reinstalling. It’s still completely besides the point. Milk chocolate is it’s own food, you don’t taste the sugar or chocolate separately, it’s a homogeneous mixture. You don’t “like sugar more than chocolate”, you like Milk Chocolate more than you like Dark Chocolate. You probably(hopefully… r.i.p your teeth otherwise) also like Milk Chocolate more than you like pure sugar, so by the OPs logic that must mean you like chocolate more than you like sugar, at the same time as you like sugar more than chocolate. See the problem here?
Btw, people do eat spoonfuls of honey which is probably 99.9% sugar.
One, not a completely fair comparison because honey has it’s own distinctive flavor beyond just tasting like sugar. But also two, I’ve never known anyone to just eat multiple spoonfuls of honey by itself. Anecdotal, sure, but I don’t think it’s nearly as common as you seem to be implying it is

No, those companies aren’t wrong, but they’re not entirely right either. The answer to “6 ÷ 2(1+2)” is 1 on those calculators because that is a badly written equation and you(not literally you, to be clear) should feel bad for writing it, and the calculators can’t handle it with their rigid hardcoded logic. The ones that do give the correct answer of 9 on that equation will get other equations wrong that it shouldn’t be, again because the logic is hardcoded.
That doesn’t change the fact that that equation worked out on paper is absolutely 9 based on modern rules of math. Calculate the parentheses first, you then have 6 ÷ 2(3). We could solve from here, but to make the point extra clear I’m going to actually expand this out to explicit multiplication. “2(3)” is the same as “2 x 3”, so we can rewrite the equation as “6 ÷ 2 x 3”. All operators now inarguably have equal precedence, which means the only factor left in which order to do the operations is left to right, and thus division first. The answer can only be 9.
