I currently DONT have gamestreaming from my Ubuntu Server to the minisforum. I WANT to have it but i don’t know how to properly set it up. I tried several installs of sunshine but it fails everytime on encoders… and the docker support is very manual at the moment.
The performance issues i have on BG3 are running directly on the minisforum thats why i want to run it on the server instead.
So basically my post is asking for help on setting up sunshine on my ubuntu server
I’ve got my GPU running in docker when i wanted to use hw transcoding on my Plex docker. So this is already cleared.
I’ve researched a bit since posting and found that using sunshine directly is not the easiest route to pick here since their docker installation is still in early development and involves a lot of manual config and setup.
I guess it’s just the way my brain doesn’t assimilate information well, but I went at it assuming that when I was done I would have a product that would show up in Plex and allow me to use as a browser within the Plex system. Now that I’m done I realize it’s just a single device install that that results in something...
It’s a web service you can host on a server, connect to Radar, Sonarr and Plex and use it to find new shows and add them in a few clicks… Don’t know what you’re talking about there to be honest
Now you have a Webserver running on your PC and your wife could open it on her iPad if she would enter the IP of your PC and the correct port of your overseer instance…
But this isn’t really optimal as the site now only works I’d your PC is on
For those of you in the UK, IKEA currently has a steep discount on their GU10 bulbs. I’ve just picked up several dimmable, colour temperature controlled bulbs for £5 each....
Interesting… are you using Zigbee2MQTT? Because i am on ZHA and looking at my network visualization none of my aqara devices connect to the IKEA bulbs. Only other IKEA bulbs connect to them in my case.
I have some temperature sensors from aqara, some movement sensors and some multi buttons and they didn’t connect to them. I had to buy some smart-plugs to act as repeaters.
I remember having constant disconnects with my several aqara devices when i only had a path of bulbs to connect to. Those bulbs have constant power and are not turned off.
And when checking ZHA visualization i saw that they don’t connect to the bulbs but rather tried to connect directly to my stick but only got minimal connection because of the distance. No matter what i tried, they would not connect to the bulbs
I don’t want to hear the realistic argumentation of why this is proceeding. I want to live in my fantasy headspace where comments like this can stop superpower megacorps from being assholes…okay? 😅
not gonna lie, i enjoyed Loki… not much tbh… but it was nice to watch while nothing else to do. And i could only enjoy it because i pirated it. Watching it, knowing i paid for it… would’ve made me angry
who else thinks this is a good idea just wondering like i know their is parts on there for ai but they are just there its not been sorted properly for the megathread like i would love to see an AI section that is dedicated to the uncensored cracked or otherwise pirated AI stuff that would be pretty cool anyone else think this...
Runpod.io for example, you can just rent a GPU per the hour, train your own model and you’re good to go. I mean as long as you don’t upload criminal stuff (CSAM, etc.) you can train what you want on there.
Otherwise, training your own models will become easier by the day for home hardware. Look at fast it went for Image AI to be able to train your own model. You can do that with 12GB or even 8GB afaik now. I don’t think it’ll take very long until you can just let your 8GB card chuck away at some training data.
Well you wont find any “pirated” GPU host… Its nothing that can really be pirated because we’re talking about hardware here.
Afaik google colab has enough VRAM to train and they don’t really at the source material you put in there (again, as long as you don’t trigger any CSAM filters or so)
Yeah…you’re basically talking gibberish, sorry to tell you.
GPT4 doesn’t have to be reverse engineered, their software is nothing special and the open source programs available are more than competitive.
The part that can’t be pirated is the model itself. The training data that was formed into the model. That you can’t pirate or reverse engineer. You could steal it by hacking them and leaking it. But it would be incredible inefficient to run because OpenAI basically didn’t give a single fuck about efficiency and you need really fcking high end GPUs to run that.
So, to conclude.
ChatGPT “software” is absolutely boring and the alternatives out there are both plenty and in many cases superior. The interesting part is the model, which can’t be reverseengineered and even if, can’t be run on most hardware.
What you want is unrealistic and to be honest, completely unnecessary. We don’t want or need ChatGPT’s model. The open source models that already exist are in many cases better than GPT4; But they’re focused on specific tasks. Yes - there is no single model that can compete with GPT4 as is. But you can get yourself models for focused tasks and those “combined” definetly CAN compete with GPT4.
And the open source softwares like oobabooga are so much more capable than GPT4’s stupid minimalistic webui…
First of all…bro…please use punctuation. This completely period-less wall of text was a nightmare to read lmao.
An OS controlled completely by AI sounds nightmarish to be honest. The amount of wrong outputs your typical LLMs generate would steer your PC into oblivion i tell you.
ASSISTED by AI is another thing though. There are already some tools out there that let you turn on some AI overlay that can help you figure out what you want to do. Even for the terminal.
But wouldn’t want that on my PC tbh. First of all, it would make the electricity bill for using your PC pure hell… imagine you have to fire up your GPU to 100% usage everytime you want to do something…
