RaoulDook,

I haven’t changed my shopping habits, but I definitely notice the ripoffs of significantly higher prices on some of the same food items I’ve been buying for years. Overall it’s still much cheaper to buy groceries and make your own food than the vast majority of restaurants and such.

Fast food prices have gotten more noticeably higher than groceries have in my area. So I assume that most of the people I hear complaining the loudest about “Inflation” are the ones who eat fast food as a staple of their diet.

RaoulDook,

You may be right in general, but none of that is a good excuse for a transactional sex life.

If I wanted to exchange services (labor) for sex, I could simply take the money earned from labor to purchase it from a prostitute. That is not what a marriage should be like.

RaoulDook,

Same here. Having a car as a teen unlocked all the cool shit for me. Freedom to roam and meet with cool people, going fishing, shooting guns at a sandpit, getting drunk, getting laid, etc. Nobody would believe all the cool shit we did back in the day without pictures haha.

RaoulDook,

VR headset would be best view but then they couldn’t see all the fancy controls around them.

RaoulDook,

Jokes on you, a plural amount of them, must be what they mean. Where are the rest of the jokes motherfuckers!?

RaoulDook,

Hell naw. Paid social media apps are for chumps

RaoulDook,

Nope, I don’t need another one. I’m fully capable of buying any app I want but I do not buy mobile apps.

RaoulDook,

No, I simply do not spend hundreds of hours on any phone app. Social media is not very important to me, and I would always rather use a web browser on one of my nice computers for a superior Internet browsing experience.

RaoulDook,

That’s exactly the kind of thing a chump would say about it

RaoulDook,

No, I don’t want to see that brainwashing garbage. It’s curated to wreck the brains and society of Western democracies.

Everyone should have heard about this by now, but China’s version of TikTok is vastly different than ours. It is limited to mostly educational content and has built-in screen time limits. They know what is bad about our version of it, and it’s on purpose.

RaoulDook,

Nope, you are in denial about it or lying about it on purpose. As the other replies mentioned, what I said was independently verified as true.

RaoulDook,

You can go ahead and point out where I mentioned Lemmy in my prior comment. But I will address that now, and of course TikTok is not better than Lemmy.

But what my prior comment was about is that the content from TikTok is unhealthy for the mind. Therefore Lemmy should not host it at all.

I already downvote the porn posts that are just dancing hoes from TikTok. Or anything with that watermark on it. Everyone who cares about mental health and reducing propaganda and misinformation should join me in doing so.

RaoulDook,

Look at how their app captures every keystroke of every user, and you’ll have your answer.

RaoulDook,

Because I don’t have all the commands to do everything memorized. Also powershell versions and compatibility / features have changed a lot over the years.

Not to say that Powershell is a bad thing in any way, it is quite useful for the stuff I do at work. But it is a mess just like the rest of MS.

RaoulDook,

Because humans enjoy having lots of space to live in. Personally I would never go back to living in an apartment since I can afford a house and land. I’ve lived in small apartments, big apartments, a single-wide trailer, large houses, small houses, and medium houses. Medium house with acreage of land is the best living situation of all for me.

RaoulDook,

I concur bro. These bullshitters are high on their own farts and apparently can’t see the truth that they are never going to change the vast landscape of America into their imaginary Soviet-style shithole idea of a “utopia” where people don’t drive and live in tiny boxes in human hives.

RaoulDook,

I don’t commute to work often, but when I do it’s only about a 20 minute drive in light traffic. I certainly wouldn’t spend 3 hours a day in a car to commute to work when there are plenty of jobs within that 20 minute commute from my house.

RaoulDook,

Yes I have 2 of them.

FYI you should turn over each of your fire extinguishers at least once every 6 months to keep them working right. That means pick it up, rotate it upside-down, and let the stuff inside slide to the top, then turn it back over. I learned this from a fire inspector that I had to guide through a datacenter once.

RaoulDook,

All of the 18-year olds will disagree. It would be quite cruel to take away their deserved freedoms of adulthood.

Sure if you’re older than 25 or 30 you know that you’re not fully mature at 18, but freedom is more important than being protected from all bad decisions.

RaoulDook,

My 2-sticks bring all the worms to the yard

RaoulDook,

PowerDeleteSuite was a good tool for overwriting your comments and deleting them. Now you need a rate-limited fork of it. It still works, but I don’t have the link handy.

Edit all of your comments and posts to some useless text, then delete them.

RaoulDook,

Haha I didn’t think people still retained that ancient knowledge of motoring success. The good ole days of weak 4-cylinder cars and trucks, when you’d disengage the AC to get more power to go up a hill or something. I’ve met several people who didn’t know it was even a thing.

RaoulDook,

Yes of course they are, but modern 4-cylinder engines have advanced a lot since the old days of last century’s engines.

Today it’s not hard to find a 4-cylinder that can put out 100 horsepower per liter, or even more. They can pull that little car up the hill with the AC on full blast.

RaoulDook,

Far out
