Are specials requestable in jellyseerr? They aren’t in overseerr, so they have to be manually requested in sonarr. Also, sonarr uses tvdb and as I understand it, it’s unlikely to ever support tmdb, so if jellyseerr uses tmdb like overseerr does, then that could be another source of confusion if there are differences.
For now if you use sonarr you just have to accept tvdb and set other things to use tvdb where possible (Plex and jellyfin), and accept mismatches where it can’t be changed (like overseerr / possibly jellyseerr too since it’s a fork)
Stuff like this really makes me want to switch to jellyfin, but I watch stuff from me and my friend groups libraries and Plex lets me search for shows across my entire friend group at once. I’m afraid I’ll be waiting forever for jellyfin to allow federating servers so that bob@red.instance can share a library with alice@blue.instance allowing Alice to browse red+blue instance content from their home instance UI instead of requiring an account with every instance.
That looks like an imax release, maybe the top/bottom black bars are on the Blu-ray it was ripped from to make it fit 16:9? Since it’s a remux they shouldn’t have touched it to remove the bars.
“Subtitles downloaded by VIP members are free from any embedded ads, offering a cleaner viewing experience.”
I haven’t used opensubtitles much but have been considering setting up bazarr, using a source that embeds ads in subtitles would be a non starter for me.
I would even be totally willing to pay for increased download limits but not if it means supporting putting ads in the free subtitles.
If you have good home upload and want to host at home, a simple reverse proxy on the vps provider of your choice does the trick. I host for a large group of friends and family and it all proxies through haproxy running on digitalocean.
The reason I gave up on MP3’s and subscribed to Spotify was because Spotify was easy. I’ve been listening “Iron Maiden - Empire of the Clouds” song every day and like a week ago, its removed. This was the last straw for me. Right now I’m trying to find “Stremio” of the music world. Can someone assist?...
I’ve been downloading tons of my Spotify music using spotdl and sticking it on Plex, which kinda accomplishes most of what you want. I then organize it with lidarr. Spotdl doesn’t actually download from Spotify but it uses Spotify metadata to tag files after matching with and downloading from YouTube music, it might just use youtube-dl/p under the hood but being able to give it a Spotify playlist, artist, or album url from Spotify makes it super convenient. For some artists I just download the entire artist in one go.
HBO Max was the last service I still had before I fully committed to the high seas, for similar reasons. Removing Westworld before many people were even finished with the newest season was the final straw. There’s nothing on any streaming service that I haven’t been able to get in the same quality through *arr apps onto my Plex, including usually HDR and 5.1 now that I have rules set up to upgrade to those when available.
Really interesting read about the history of YouTube adblocking, how the new detection works, how uBO is responding, and how not to block the new popups.
Last time it stopped working for me I just needed to update revanced manager, make sure the patches were updated on the main screen, and re patch the recommended APK version which had increased. They’ve done a pretty good job at keeping up
It’s worth noting that if you use privacy for free trials, they limit you to 3 cards linked to the same “merchant” (detected by the first transaction that goes through). After 3 cards you have to contact support to reset the limit for that merchant, so the single transaction cards are only good if you never want to shop there again because they immediately burn 1 use out of the limit.
For starters, you can add weather stripping to outside-facing doors and windows. If your landlord doesn’t want to pay for it, then it can be found cheaply on aliexpress. Also, add insulation outside-facing switch covers and outlet plates.
Low(er) flow faucet aerators & shower heads (don’t have to get crazy but try a few at different flows to see if you can go any lower without it being obnoxious, I stopped at 1.5gpm as the 1gpm restrictors felt like a stingy public bathroom)
Adjust water heater to a cooler temp (at 125-130F I can still get the shower as hot as I need just by turning it close to full hot)
LEDs in all light fixtures, I usually calculate lumens per watt to get the most efficient I can find while still having ~80+ cri and a 2700-3000k temperature (colder temperatures are usually more efficient but I’m not about living in blue light)
IR reflecting window film for the summer and draft-reducing film for the winter
Weather stripping to fill any drafty gaps
Make sure HVAC filter is changed on time and not restricting air flow
Simply let it get a bit warm in the summer and a bit chilly in the winter, use eco modes if your thermostat has it
I’m unrooted and I use revanced manager to patch YT and didn’t notice anything about needing root. I use the change package name patch so I can have the official YouTube app installed side by side with the revanced version since Chromecasting only works for me in the official app.
Oh yeah that’s annoying, I just search for the version on apkpure or apkmirror and usually one of those will have a standard APK I can download and select for patching.
Huh, I’ve been running 6x wd red pro 6tb in raidz2 for 7 years and I’ve only had 2 fail. Recently migrated to synology btrfs with the same drives still going strong
Jellyseerr not listing specials season despite specials listed in TMDB
I’m having trouble with my recently set up *arr stack, but it does seem to be specifically related to Jellyseerr....
Plex starts narcing on its own users' anime and X-rated habits with an opt-out service, and it's going terribly (www.pcgamer.com)

Ways to pirate music as convenient as Spotify?

What are some easy ways that you can improve energy efficiency and be more eco-friendly in your rental apartment?

Are any of these (firefox) extensions causing the 'Adblockers are not allowed on Youtube' message for you guys?
Figured I’d make a dedicated post this time instead of leaving it in a comment....
