True I actually thought I was shadowbanned and it took me a long time to work out I basically was but only when I used my Vpn…

I liked Sync Pro on Reddit but there’s no way I can justify the huge cost jump for a lemmy version.

I hope lemmy does OK but it could be replaced anytime with something a bit better and there’s still a lot less content than Reddit had.

This is probably a ridiculous question, but I usually stream from my laptop to my LG tv or my phone to any other tv, and I find that using my VPN keeps the casting output option from working. Like in Popcorntime, the Watch Now doesn’t show my tv, only the laptop app or VLC. On my daughter’s fire stick I can’t even cast to...

An observation I’ve made using bubblupnp on my Android phone is I can’t directly cast to my fire cube with my vpn app on yet if I open vlc on the cube itself it can see the dlna library and play it.

So yeah it’s a bit strange.

Pretty sure revanced supports twitch if you have an android phone it’s a bit of a learning curve though took me quite a while to patch tiktok and involved command line on my laptop to make the right apk.

That said you might be lucky and have the revanced manager do it on your phone.

I like Kobo it pretty much let’s you load anything you want manually I even did a mobi once by accident and was really surprised it worked.

I went on a run of watching the DC movies in chronological order. Mainly because I have seen the Marvel ones so many times now.

Now I’m doing same with the doom patrol series I’d never got past season 1 before now.

I use mine more as an mp3 player and I do find the vibration alarm feature very useful as sometimes a normal alarm clock doesn’t wake me. Apart from that don’t really see to much benifit over a normal watch.

It is nice to have things like maps etc on your wrist bit I can’t say I’ve ever actually used really used them.

I had it nag me and attempt to hide the install button the last time I updated revanced I turned it off as I think its only a matter of time before it attempts to remove adblockers or other sideloaded apps.

Ok the icon is obvious now I look at it I just assumed it would be on the 3 dot menu and didn’t expect it anywhere else I guess.

I mean it does everything really, mp3 player, GPS, Internet, compass (maps), communication even games. That said I am a little disappointed because they have been removing things like headphone Jack’s, Sd cards and I really thought at this point we would all have flir cams etc on every phone.

I really liked season 1 I just couldn’t get into or past season 2 at all.

I got bombarded with Minecraft videos for months despite hitting not interested and resorting to blocking the entire channels.

Never played Minecraft or shown any interest in it in my life. My best guess is I watched a few rimworld videos which is a very different type of game.

The only DS emulator really worth using in my opinion is Drastic I tried a few other things like lemuroid and MelonDS before finally paying for Drastic.

My biggest issue with them is they always say for 2 yet there’s no way I could consider one a full meal. (might be a UK portion thing maybe).
