Our Chihuahua that’s abnormally strong strong from steroids because of her Addison’s disease has trouble getting out from under a weighted blanket.

Yeah, they can be loud assholes and they can break skin when they bite, but they can’t take a squirrel in a fight. They’re far from a life-threatening danger to armored kill teams.

The thing about fishing for me is that it’s about exploring the lake and relaxing. It ain’t called “catching” for a reason.

But I don’t really do catch and release. I eat what I catch (provided it’s a legal size/species of course). I feel like catching fish just to catch them is kinda a dick move.

People don’t go out to the woods and shoot a deer in the leg and walk away. So why should we put a hook in a fish’s lip/throat just for giggles?

I think part of it is that I can’t get stuck as easily with scuba gear strapped on my back, and I don’t have to worry about gravity fucking me over.

I drove smaller trucks for about 20 years. I actually just got a small cargo van (NV200), but still have my Colorado after the dealership offered me $100 in trade-in.

Seriously this was very surprising. I’ve been experimenting with GrayJay since it was announced and I largely think it’s a pretty sweet app. I know there are concerns over how it isn’t “true open source” but it’s a hell of a lot more open than ReVanced. Plus, I like the general design and philosophy of the app....

Just because a company is profitable it doesn’t mean they can’t ask users to pay for a service.

I don’t love Alphabet either, but in their shoes I’d block ad filters too. YouTube is spectacularly expensive to run.

Yes, they absolutely do. But it’s the backlash that people see.

The United Methodist Church just had a schism because the bigots were butthurt by being called out, so they went and started their own denomination (Global Methodist) with hatred of gay people as a foundational principle.
